Anyone else having or who have gone thru pregnancy and had white discharge come out while you pee? It's like milky white and falls in the water like a cloud of smoke. Please tell me this is normal!
Totally normal. Our lady bits do weird things when pregnant, after baby is born, etc etc. Let's just say things down there won't ever be quite "normal" again, most likely lol.
@kimey1 I am curious now too, maybe some seasoned mommies will speak up and let us ftm's know what to expect? *hint hint* Im a little nervous now, what exactly changes? Does it look different or feel different? I'm scairt!!!!!!!!
I'm a FTM.....but what I was told is once it stretches it's stretched and will never return to its orginal shape or form again. I was like What!!! Kim Kardashian stated her cooch looked better. TMI but I like my tightly wrap cooch. The muscle don't there won't be as tense either, to include bladder and rectum control.
Well mine sure looks different. I got a bumpy Ridge halfway to bum hole where I tore and be to be stitched. Similarly I got an extra little flap of skin at the entrance to my vagina which I also assume is from the way I was stitched.
Now I can say that my muscles are tight. DH commented that it feels just as tight. So I recommend keeping up with kegals
Ok. So onto to the discharge side of things. I still occasionally dribble pee when I sneeze or cough. Hemmeroids are a recurring issue. But vaginal discharge is on the normal scale as how it was pre pregnancy/birth.
And there is my experience of my vagina after birth.
Some TMI to go with your TMI - I had to be cut with DS and was stitched - so things look and feel a bit different from the outside. Years later, DH still says it doesn't feel different during sex, if anything I feel a bit tighter. (Or at least things hurt more for quite awhile after). So yes, kegals are your friend! Discharge is always heavier in pregnancy but it leveled off after birth and recovery for the most part. I had difficulty with passing BMs after DS and some still now (almost 5 years later) that I do attribute to that first cut/tear damaging some musculature. Mom life is glamorous!
Edited for a TMI warning. Although let's be real.. on a board where discharge, constipation, and leaky breasts are part of daily conversation, is there really such a thing as TMI?
Yeah I don't want to overshare but it's never quite the same tightness again... and a couple times if I was peeing too hard, pee shot out of the toilet and onto my pants. No joke.

I've got some weirdness going on from the stitches, but the tightness is apparently the same . Or maybe DH is smart and doesn't want me to feel self-conscious about it haha
Two stitches for me, so small scar and recurring hemorrhoids (joy :-q ) plus a definite recovery period for the muscles, and then a re-stretching period when you're allowed to have sex again (holy painfully tight batman). The biggest change for me is how aware of everything I am down there, kinda like when you roll your ankle and can then feel Every Single Pulse in that ankle - I can feel the "contractions" that come with orgasm more, etc.
Time to get a jumbo box of pantyliners. Extra discharge is all part of the "miracle of life!" Haha
I can't live without panty liners these days. I love the always brand because they are super thin and I can wear them with all my underwear even thongs .. Which is basically all I wear . Victoria's Secret Stretchy lace thongs for the win
