FTM feeding question

FTM and I pretty much exclusively pump and supplement. When I feed my baby gir from the bottle she drinks, and then she takes a break and seems like she has to catch her breath-short rapid breaths.

Is that normal?

Sorry FTM who has no experience with babies!

    She's learning to feed so yes this is normal. Sometimes u may have to pull the bottle out of her mouth of she hasn't taken a breath in a while or if she's eating too fast.

    Yes normal. I had a preemie now 1 month old but original due date is 10/30. She still does this and prob will at least til then she said. Normal 4 week (if born at term) timing is when they 'start getting the hang of feeding/breathing cycle' my docs said. Bottle or breast doesn't matter.

    Yep. I BF and my son does this as well. They're just learning how to do all these things in the outside world

    Same here. We have to top the bottle ball top force him to breathe sometimes. We were taught that by our nurse at the hospital. Our pediatrician 2nd edition her.
