Play date food

Hello - I am hosting a play date on Saturday afternoon (12:45) for another couple and their two kids (4 and 15 months). My daughter is 14 months. What do I serve them to eat? Don't want to go all out and order catering of sandwiches (since there are only 4 adults), but have no clue what to serve. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

    That's a pretty formal play date! I would never expect food if I went to a friend's house for a play date. Do you know these people well? If so, couldn't you just have some chips and dip out and be like "hey, are you hungry, I can order a pizza?"
