I'm taking the orange, lemon, and strawberry Vitafusion gummies.... have you tried those? I almost got the flavor that you have but decided against it. LOL
@benchpressfil No- I was debating flavors and went with these. I loved the raspberry lemonade ones pre-pregnancy. As long as I can keep these down, I'll finish the bottle and then switch to a different flavor.
I'm taking the Vitafusion Gummies too. The nurse mentioned at my appointment yesterday that I should make sure that my pre-natal should include Iodine. The Gummies don't have those. Is anyone taking an Iodine supplement they like? I've tried other prenatal vitamins but my stomach didn't agree with them so I'd hate to switch.
Nature Made Parental Multi + DHA and up&up (Target brand) fiber + calcium gummies for an extra boost of calcium! Both are gross and will make me throw up if I'm already super nauseous, but I seem to do OK taking the gummy with breakfast and the Prenatal with another snack or meal.
Isn't it one capsule four times a day For megafoods baby and me? Our bodies can only absorb specific amounts of nutrients at a time. That's why it says to take them four times a day, to ensure our bodies get the maximum vitamins
Is it? That's the brand I take but I don't see anything on the instructions indicating I should space out the capsule intake. I hope I haven't been doing it wrong.
I use Deva prenatals. They are fine on the tummy but they turn my pee briiiight yellow.
To any muslimahs: most vitamins contain animal byproducts especially gelatin (which is usually made from pork). There are some halal ones made special but I just got some Vegan ones at the local health food store
I started with just whatever OTC I could find with DHA, but the tablets were too big and I couldn't keep gummies down, so I ended up getting a prescription for my prenatal. Love it! It's tiny and inexpensive thanks to my insurance. I think it's called Prenate Pixi.
@flemmin - start taking prenatals with dha. The sooner you start, the better it is for you and baby. Your Dr. will most likely give you samples and if they work better for you, than OTC then you can get a prescription.
I'm currently taking the one a day with DHA but we have our first 8 week appointment and I'm curious if Doc is going to want me on something else. I also take an added Vitamin D as I've been told I was deficient in the past so figured I better take it until I see the Doc.

I'm in the same situation with my folic acid. The bottle says "take 3 daily" sooo.... All at once? Or separately? What does that mean? I tried to google it but I couldn't find anything on it. My other pills say "take 1 tablet two times daily" so that's obvious. So maybe it would specify if it was important. GAH!
Nordic naturals prenatal DHA. It's super pure/clean and doesn't give you a fishy taste. I also take garden of life kind organic prenatals. They're the best!
Rainbow Light Organic Prenatals + Rainbow Light DHA. I have morning sickness and neither tastes horrible to me. Also B1 tablets periodically because it improves my currently atrocious sleep and teary moodswings.
I'm taking the One A Day brand which comes with a prenatal multivitamin and DHA/EPA liquid gels. No problems at all with them. Kind of pricey though.. I think they were about $35 at Walgreens (has 60 tablets/capsules of each in the box). I don't mind paying for them though.
Currently taking the Spring Valley gummy prenatals. I just don't like the coat of sugar over it. I may try ones without next time unless they're all like that!
VitaFusion gummies. I feel ridiculous because I was so afraid to take them - I took whatever gummies Rite-Aid had during my first pregnancy and they were disgusting. DH volunteered to take one first and said they were pretty good. He was right. Dear baby, sorry for being afraid of my vitamins.

Im on USANA prenatals, Two bottles, two tablets twice a day. One bottle is Chelated Mineral, the other is Mega Antioxidant with Folic Acid. There a bit expensive (50$ for 112 tablets x2) but anything for my baby. Knowing im getting the whole dosage compared to some other over the counter meds eases my mind.
Rainbow light prenatal one. Huge and kinda smelly but I love that they're one and done! I'm only taking them before bed now as I've been nauseous all day, every day for 3 weeks now!
Concept OB DHA. Gotta take it with lots of water or else the fish taste is stuck in your throat :-& it's kinda expensive imo, $30 a month after insurance!
Citranatal Assure. But to be honest, I don't see the difference going with this one my OB prescribed me or something over the counter...
I got this RX from my OB, but I went to fill it and with insurance and a coupon from the OB, it was still $55/month! So looks like I'm sticking with my OTC one a day with dha ... wth! The whole reason I got the RX was I thought it would be cheaper or even free with insurance and a coupon combined. Did you run into this @caterin?
I finally got the point where thinking about swallowing a pill whole made me nauseous, so yesterday I got the vitafusion gummies yesterday. Seemed fine so far.
