  I may be biased but I chose this spelling "Isabelle" because that is DD middle name.

  Just fyi-Isabelle is in the SS top #100 (barely) while Isabel is not, so I think Isabelle might be the expected spelling these days (perhaps because of the popularity of Isabella). I actually love Isobel, but I prefer over the top names.

  Isabelle is on my short list if we have another girl so I may be a little biased. I think the only problem with Isabel would be a lifetime of other people spelling it wrong

  The spelling 'Isabel' makes it look like she came from Europe so a lot of ppl might misspell it in the States.

  Because you picked your middle name Michelle, I actually voted for Isabel Michelle, because I thought IsabELLE MichELLE looked like you were trying too hard.

  I think Isabel because of the Twilight thing you mentioned and that it is so popular. But I personally think the name in general is too popular but a lot of people don't let popularity stop them it seems, or there wouldn't be popular names.

  I'm with @thaisac1 - the "Elle" ending for both names is too much for me. But it's not my kid, so pick what you want!

  I prefer the spelling of Isabelle but with Michelle as the middle name I went with Isabel. The -elle at the end of both names was too much for me as well.

  Isabel because of the middle name ending in Elle

  First BFP 12/2012, MMC at 9 weeks

  Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)

  Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks

  Isabel looks like you forgot to add a few letters to the end, but that's probably because I naturally would've spelled it Isabelle. It looks prettier to me.

  This is the name we're going with for a girl!  We're planning to spell it "Isabelle" as this is the most common spelling/less chance of misspell.

  
  

  
  

  Also, just to clarify, the Twilight girl was "Isabella" nn "Bella."  Different name IMO plus Twilight was popular a few years ago so most people won't associate.
