Lately when I stand still for a while, like in grocery lines, I start feeling bad. Tired, upset stomach and slightly woozy. I feel like I have I sit down and eat something. Anyone else? Walking seems to be ok generally.
Yes, if I am just standing I feel like I need to sit down because I feel dizzy. I thought it was just because I haven't worked out in 7 months, but now I'm not sure.
Am feeling the same way last week my husband had to do the grocery shopping because that's been happening to me my stomach gets so hard and i feel like i have to vomit and at the same time i get light headed its just feels horrible
If I do a lot of walking or standing still the Braxton hicks kick in hard. It gets uncomfortable and our bodies are nearing the end of the our pregnancies, therefore gearing up for labor. At least that is what's usually going on with me when I start feeling like poo. Maybe talk to your provider, just to be on the safe side? My blood sugar also runs a little on the low side so I can't go long without snacks or smoothies without feeling crappy.
I'm having more of a problem where if I am sitting for too long or not doing much, then I start to feel nauseous and just all around not great. Maybe it's because I am on my feet all day at work, but I just feel better, physically, when I'm moving around. Makes things difficult at bedtime, especially since baby thinks that is the time to play and do somersaults.
I've been dealing with this my whole life, I over heat and get dizzy a couple of times my vision went black for a few seconds. Mostly its dehydration and being hungry, try not to over work yourself specially if you haven't eaten or had water.
I get light headed and a bit dizzy, but also feel like something crazy is happening with my breathing or circulation...almost like a fluttering? This happens when I lay down or sit too soooooo.....not sure what's going on.
I get the same thing! Anytime I stand for longer than say, 5 minutes, I immediately start to get dizzy and need to sit! If anyone knows that this is please let us know! I keep forgetting to ask my OB... ugh pregnancy brain
I had this happen in the 2nd trimester. I called the OB, and she assured me it was common in pregnancy. Her explaination (simplified of course) is that when you are standing still, your blood will start to gather in your lower extremities, and since the uterus is quite a bit larger than normal, the blood has trouble getting back up...again. This is a simplified version filtered through pregnancy brain :-S But if you are concerned, definitely give your OB/midwife/provider a call
