IUD removal

I went last week to have my IUD removed and no strings. U/S shows it is in place but the strings have retracted. I go tomorrow to have it "fished out". This is my second removal and my cervix does not open. Hence 2 csections. Anyone had their iud fished out. If so, how bad does it hurt. Trying to decide if a Motrin will work or if I need my Norco and a driver.

    I have a friend who had to have hers fished out and she said it hurt pretty good. But I think you'd be okay with some Motrin and probably some chocolate afterwards
