I thought I was having contractions (warning: TMI)

I thought this might give some people a good laugh. I woke up in the middle of night with bad belly pain. I was worried I was having contractions so I got up and drank a ton of water and sat up on our couch to see if they slowed down. The pain did get better... after tremendous amounts of gas. Horrible, horrible gas. Scared my dog away.

Apparently this first time mom can't tell the difference between gas pains and labor pains. Oopsie. Glad I didn't call my OB; that would have been embarrassing.

They are kind of similar! When I started having contactions with my second, I thought I just had to poop. After several trips back and forth to the bathroom with no luck I realized the pains were pretty regular...7 hours later DD was born!

Haha this happened to me too! But it was constipation pains. Being pregnant is so glamorous

I had issues with gas/bloat before pregnancy. Now at almost 26 weeks with twins this is NO JOKE I've almost went to ER twice thinking they were contractions lol yup I'm a FTM
