I am only 28 weeks prego but I pretty much have my baby's diaper bag packed. just wondering when I should have mine packed and ready? I feel it's never to early as things happen at any time this stage in the game.
also is there anything you should have packed but didn't think you would need?
Re: hospital bag?
I haven't packed anything for baby yet but I think it'll just be a couple of going home outfits, one boy one girl and a blanket or two for the car ride home. @macattack15 What other baby things did you pack? If baby is early and needs to go to the NICU either DH or I can always run home and get more clothes since it is already washed.
I'm interested to see everyone else's lists to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I haven't even thought about it. Maybe I'll get it together after my shower.
I made a list of what I need, and will start collecting what I need for me, and pack in the next couple of weeks!
some snacks (mostly for hubby)
A pillow
A cozy blanket
Two outfits for baby
A short robe
Face moisturizer
Yoga pants and a loose top for going home in
A few night gowns with easy access for nursing
Shower shoes
Slippers
Hair ties!!
Brush
Boppy pillow
Hospital Bag:
Black sweats (gap maternity)
Nursing tank with shelf bra x2
Black cotton boy short underwear x2
Zip sweatshirt
Hair brush

My mom told me make sure you pack whatever fits you at 9 mths preggo because you don't know if you'll be that much smaller after birth or still huge from fluid and swelling.
On another note, I'm also doing the paper plates and plastic cups thing. We are making a trip to BJ's wholesale for those items, plus toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, pantry items etc. To hopefully make recovery and adjustment to parent life a little easier lol. I even have cash saved to have on hand, for ordering out or whatever we need lol. Say we send someone to the store for us or someone stops for us on the way over, we'll have cash.
Going to go make my hospital bag list now!
