So, I drank the drink a little before 10, and then had my draw at 11. I didn't feel much of anything during that hour, maybe a little funny in my head, but then about 4 hours after I just had this crazy episode of like a hot flash or something. I started sweating profusely, and felt hot and clammy. I hadn't gotten to eat yet (I had a scrambled egg about an hour before the test, but no lunch). So, I ate lunch and am feeling better now. Did this happen to anyone else, or does anyone have any idea what happened? It was such an awful feeling.
I did the orange drink. Not as bad as I was expecting. I used to work at a summer camp and it reminds me of the fake orange drink that we would give the kids at refreshment time. Great memories of college Now to wait on results.

Bleh - Failed my one hour so I am going back Thursday for the 3 hour. I know everyone seems to be getting different instructions on the night before. I am told to eat a high carb dinner and nothing after midnight, they said high carb because they will test immediately whenever I arrive. If my body has not been able to break down the carbs after that length of time then it will be an automatic fail
I told myself that I wouldn't be worried because I can not have control over this - It's just my body but now I find myself worried.
I had my test this morning. I had the orange flavor and honestly it tasted just fine. It was not bad at all, I was anticipating it to be terrible to drink based on what others have told me, but it just tasted like soda to me.
I just had mine. Waiting the hour wait still. The drink was orange flavored, tasted like a child's orange drink from McDonalds. Wasn't bad. Not what I expected though. 20 yrs ago with dd I remember a very small amount of a very flat cola. This time this cup was full.. Had to slam it.
