  For future posts, consider using punctuation. It's difficult to read when you string everything together in one giant run-on sentence.

  I have been thinking about how we want to announce! I'm sorry your video is lost I have told my mom and some friends but for our public announcement I'll do a picture, it could be Halloween based or we could wait more towards November. Or we could do a Christmas/ NY announcement after we find out the sex.
  Something with a little pumpkin is kinda cliche but still appropo and adorable. So maybe we'll do a classic pic with our family in our Halloween costumes while I also hold and pumpkin at belly height.

  We're not going to announcer to family until after the 1st trimester, and then likely not publicly until after the anatomy scan. I work in health care and am too paranoid about everything to risk telling early. I know some people want support if something happens, but I'm pretty private and would want to deal with anything on our own.

  We're not saying anything until the Docs appointment this Monday. I'll be 11 weeks then which should be a "safe zone" time to announce. I'll be telling family at my birthday dinner this Thursday and FB Friday.

  We're announcing after first tri. We announced as soon as we found out with our last pregnancy and then miscarried two weeks later :-( we told our parents already but that's it

  No big announcement for us, I think. We told the parents (mine at 5 wks because I wanted my mom's pregnancy experience and his at 7 wks because he didn't want one set of parents to know and the other not to) but we're telling other folks as it comes up. Maybe we will post on Facebook when I get super big.
  
  I had to tell his parents, tho--we kept meeting up with them solo (hard to do because hubby's family is huge) and DH kept forgetting to tell them! So I blurted it out in the five minutes I had alone with his mom before his siblings and cousins showed up, and I think it went something like, "So, um, yeah. Baby. We're having a baby. It's really early, and everything could still go wrong, but Baby." DH hasn't stopped teasing me about it.
