Ditto @AshPat0525 ... BFPs are my favorite. I'm pretty good at not being jealous. I had preemies, so I had to deal with a LOT of jealousy when people had normal healthy pregnancies and babies. So I'm well practiced in just being happy for others.
I have been actively trying for 2 months now! I've only had on period since getting off BC in July, and I'm supposed to start today, took a test and it was negative. So I'm anxiously waiting to see if my period is going to start when it is supposed...I waited two LONG weeks last month. Finally decided I just need some support since we aren't telling family, and my two friends that know have never done this before so they don't know anything!
I'm pretty sure I am just awaiting AF this month. I've been crampy and weepy... And nauseous today. But weepy is usually my sign that AF is right around the corner. So blah. Plus BFN this morning.
Thanks guys. I'm SO frustrated right now!! Still bfn, going to see my doctor tomorrow to get some progesterone because mine is low.... Hopefully they will draw blood again and see if I ovulated? Once I hit day 60 I'll take something to start it.
Though I would just pop in and say af FINALLY decided to show up today! Man! Longest cycle ever. Thank you guys for the support, I'm headed over to the wto thread....
We are actively trying. I wanted DH & I to have time to adjust to being married, so we started TTC on our 1 year wedding anniversary (in May). I stopped BCP a couple months before that to try to give my body time to adjust. So we're on cycle #4 of trying, and seem to be in FW this weekend! So hoping for a BFP in a couple weeks. <fingers crossed> I'm a professor, so I was really hoping to work it out to be due next summer, since I am starting a new job next August and I'm not sure how maternity leave will work. So, then I was debating if we should stop trying for a little while if we don't get a BFP, but I'm 31 and quite frankly my priority is our family over my career, so I think we will just keep trying and see what happens!
Married May 2014 DD born August 2016 Baby #2 due December 2017
We are actively trying. DH and I got married in May. I removed my IUD in June and are now starting cycle 3 of TTC. I do not have regular periods so it has been a little stressful to track ovulation, but we are hopeful.
Whoa! I tried to participate on this board when I joined TB but it was dead, like two threads a week. Nice to see there are people here now! I am actively trying but would love to hang out a bit here too.

Hey nice to see you over here! I remember too that it used to be dead around here... I think it will be very helpful for people to start in either this group then ttgp or at least ttgp before they jump on a bmb. Hopefully it will mean less bsc on the bmb's later.... At least one can only hope!
I love how this board has a great mix between those who are waiting with BOTB and those who are actively TTC. I'm currently on the waiting side, but I love to hear from people who are going through the same things, and also learning from those who are already TTC. And I LOVE to see BFPs! It gets me so excited!
We're not TTC yet, I'm waiting so that I will qualify for FMLA at my job, which I started end of July. We were going to wait until the new year to be safe...then that became December/January...now that I have one friend who just had a baby, two who are moments away, and one who is starting TTC, we've decided to move up TTC to November! It's very exciting to think that cycle after next, we'll be trying! I haven't started temping yet, but tracking CM I think I've figured out when I ovulated. So far no side effects from stopping BCP, hopefully it continues that way.
My new cycle finally started after taking Provera so I guess we are actively trying starting this cycle - it feels weird saying it. Exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time.
This is my first month back on the horse. My H and I had a miscarriage back in Feb, and so here I am. Last time we were SUPER lucky and got pregnant in the first cycle. I am NOT expecting things to go so smoothly this time. Fingers crossed for that miracle though. I want my rainbow baby. Baby dust to all!
Haven't officially introduced myself on this board, but I've been lurking. I'm active on March 2015, which means my LO is six months. Loving the whole new mom thing and can't wait for baby #2! But it is likely going to be awhile before another pregnancy, and that's fine with me. Still, I'm temping and charting just to make sure that I don't freak out every time AF comes late (I went through so many HPTs during the time I started weaning because I had so many pregnancy symptoms and no period!). So while I can't say I'm officially TTC, I'm definitely not preventing anything. The TTGP board is rather intimidating, and this board does seem much more laid back and accepting! Good luck, everyone!
DH and I have not been stopping ourselves for the last couple of months. But just started temping this month. Let's hope that I can get a clearer view of all this and hopefully make it happen!
Me!! We started trying 1st of last month. That cycle was so weird.... It didn't happen during that one. Hoping this cycle is more normal and it happens this time! Though I took some fertility herbs/tea and I think it messed up my cycle. Don't do it unless it's confirmed you need it! Also, @Alicat8587 please don't use the term baby dust, that's a no no and hurtful to those loss mom's that have cremated their babies.
Hi everyone! I've been lurking a bit on this board and really like the vibe! I'm 27, my husband is 28, and we've been married 4 years. This will be our first if we manage to conceive, and we are so looking forward to it!!
I've been actively trying since August 21 (when I had my copper IUD removed), and I'm on cycle 2 currently. Should be ovulating in 6-7 days
I told myself we were NTNP but after my second cycle, I started temping. That cycle I believe ended in a chemical pg. This is now cycle #5 since we got married/started TTGP. It was time to admit it lol
I would love to see updates on here. I lurk on the TTGP board, but get kinda lost over there sometimes. I'd love to hear updates on how other ladies here are doing.
Also we are NTNP... but I'm really tempted to start tracking and temping, even though I said I would wait until 2016.
DH and I are actively trying as of this month- and it's fun so far! We are still in our first year of marriage so it's pretty full-on anyway, ha! I was never on BC so hoping for a BFP this cycle if we're super duper lucky! I'm currently only at 5DPO so won't text until at least another week is passed. Fingers crossed for all of you TTC also! xxx
New here, been lurking for a bit and excited to jump in on the convo finally! My husband and I are actively trying! We are at 6 DPO right now and have been trying for the past 3 months. Good luck to all you hopefully mommy to be's out there!
I'm excited that in November I will be able to say yes to this ... and November is only a week away! Plus I just had a conversation with my mom about ttc, and once your mom knows you have babies on the brain its pretty official right? ;-)
I'm actively trying as of this month. Complete with opks and natural family planning methods. We were originally planning on waiting a lot longer but I'm just done waiting for the perfect time. Sometimes I wonder if I'm so caught in ttc that I forget just how much work a newb is...
What do you think of temping @MotherOfDucks? Is it your preference?
I had never heard of women so committed to it before coming to these boards and I find the concept a little overwhelming. I'm a little obsessed with control and routine without adding another element so I was thinking TTC would be one thing to just try and see what happens, but seeing how much these ladies love it, maybe I'm not giving temping enough credit. Would love to know what your experience has been.

Ditto! I never realized people did that very often until I got on here. We won't be doing any charting or temping unless we go several months without getting pregnant. I don't expect we'll have any issues because we are both young and healthy and like having sex several times per week.
Hi everyone this is my first post :-)
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of ttc questions? Is there a thread for questions? I didn't want to start something new if there is a place already set up.
This is my first time and I'm very new to all this. I am 31 and my husband is 29. I came off birth control in July and fell pregnant straight away without try actively trying. Sadly is ended and I had my D&C early September. We have waited a few cycles and started again this month. It has made me even more determine. I'm quite confused my fertility friend. So used another app but it change my window very sudden. Basically ended up BD 3 days before and 2 days after ovulation. Is there any chance we managed it this cycle?
Thank you so much. And if this is in the wrong place I can delete this post and write it in the right spot
