Koridremow, how cute! Do you mind sharing the color of grey paint you used? We have ordered our furniture and my last trip to Home Goods was a success but no where near how far you are! Congrats momma! Our two year old is still in the extra down stairs bedroom so we are going to wait until Christmas to make the big switch to upstairs!
@brushesnbrunch and @pbtoast I am with you guys. I have thought about colors and stuff now that we know if we will be having a boy or girl. I have decided that counts! We have other projects to get done before delving into working on the room.
Hahahahahah so for our nursery imagine a basement filled with bins.... Some of those bins have board games, kitchen supplies, summer clothes, outdoor things, and then some happen to have our fisher price swing parts, baby clothes, and baby accessories. That's at my Inlaws.
Then under my bed I have all of the newborn clothes. In a bin on the other bedroom floor is the 0-3 clothes, in my closet are 2 packs of nb diapers.
Then in my grandmas upstairs storage are the metal parts to our swing, and our second crib.
Bonus: I actually got a rnp today so that's in the middle of my living room with a doc mcstuffins doll inside of it but I'm about to take it back apart and shove the box somewhere for the next 19 weeks.
That's what our nursery looks like. We are moving right before baby and we have no where to even start setting up.
I'm super eager to get going on our baby's room but I'm also so lazy and don't want to deal with the crap we have stored in there. We have done a little - painted stripes on one wall last weekend, bought a new dresser and sold the old one. We're getting a crib from a friend so that is technically planned but the bed (guest room bed that we are keeping in there) is covered in stuff and the closet is jam packed. Ugh if it was a blank slate that would be the best right now
We switched out our toddler to his new room, the junk room into the guest room and the nursery now has every single baby item we own piled into it. I have next week off of work and planned to get it all sorted. The nesting urge has kicked in early this time round!
@koridremow did you make that mobile?? If so ... do you have instructions? I found something similar on Etsy - but it was like $50, so I was going to try and make one myself - any tips?

Yeah, same. We have SO many home projects going on right now that the nursery is just sort of in the back of my mind currently. We did actually just order the furniture but it's probably going to take a while to come in so I'm not really going to give it much thought until that happens! We will also have baby in a Halo bassinest in our room for a while so I figure I have even past February to get it squared away!
Ahhh... this is the hardest thing with being Team Green because I love pink and floral for girls and blues and sports for boys. I was thinking of gray walls with white furniture and light blue accents but haven't taken the steps to actually find a gray I like! I will live through you ladies until about mid-December...
Married: 2012 --- BFP: 2013 - Little Miss arrived: 2014 --- BFP #2: 2015 - EDD: 2/2016 (Team Green)
Baby boy is sharing a room with our soon to be 5yr old dd. (Her bday is his due date) her stuff is pink/green woodland so we're sticking with woodland theme. I bought his woodland crib sheets and a vinyl banner with the alphabet and woodland creatures for his side of the room. Other than that there won't be much decorating going on. We don't have money for much else. She does currently have two corner shelves and on the top is one of her newborn pics from the hospital photographer. Well also get a pic of baby boy and put it on the bottom shelf.
Still have some wall decorating to do and get things like crib sheets and whatnot.. But it's coming along! Although its a girl I wanted to main colors to be teal and white with pops of pink as an accent color. ETA.. Ah darn panorama pics! Sorry for the sideways view.. I swear one day I'll get the hang of posting pics.
Anyone making progress on their babe's room? I've been obsessing over it for weeks now.
Aww your baby's nursery is so beautiful! I love the color and all the sweet accents.
We need to get our butts in gear. So much paperwork and hubby's computer stuff to go through. Ahhh!!
I did pick an adorable hot air balloon bedding set at Target that we're going to base everything around, I think.
I saw that bedding set at one target but every time I search online I can never find it! It is sooo cute!!! There is so much stuff on Pinterest for hot air balloons.
I've gotten as far as cleaning out half the closet since I'll have to share with my son, the crib is in, but not set up, and I've painted the book holder.
I have looked at paint!!! And we have picked out some decor. But that's it! And I don't even feel bad about it. Baby is going to be in our room for at least the first couple months. So I'm not too concerned with having his room done. Boyfriend does want to redo the floors in there... I'd rather be selfish and redo the kitchen floors instead. I hate scrubbing linoleum!

Tell him cost-benefit - kitchens and bathrooms sell homes!
Thanks ladies! If you saw the other half of the room you would see how much we still need to accomplish I believe the color was behr silver screen. I got the mobile and Russian doll prints from etsy.
Awww love the pics! I can't wait to start on ours, but there's not a ton besides walls that we'll be able to do . . . and even at that no painting, just decor. The baby's room is currently our spare room and will be staying that way for a while, even after he's here as he'll be sleeping in our room for a while anyway.
We close on our new house Nov 17! Once we move, we'll start setting everything up. Everything for the baby's room is purchased just needs to be put together in the new space
@koridremow super cute! I am looking for a light fixture like that as well. Details on where you got it pretty please!! Did they have other color crystals ?

If you can find one in an antique store, you can spray paint them.

@skschnake I got that at Lowes on clearance! They didn't have other colors, but i saw one there that was similar that was all white.
I'm a spray painting fool too... That's how I got that bright yellow lamp. I gave up looking and made my own!
We have our paint picked out. One accent wall will be a turquoise color, the three other walls will be a lighter aqua color and possible going to do a glitter over coat ( anyone ever done this? Likes/dislikes) we found our crib that we like and a mobile I really want to try to make. My mom will attempt to make the bedding as I cannot and will not allow myself to spend 400 on baby bedding lol that is crazzzzy!
@skschnake I love the gold-framed print! Hobby Lobby right? We bought the ABC print below it in your picture but I may need to go back for that one too

This is us too! We're moving into our own home two or three months after baby arrives so it's pointless. Our rental home looks like a storage facility at the moment. I keep telling myself it will be all worth it when we move!
We haven't put anything in the nursery yet but I've been slowly doing some diy projects! Hoping it turns out cute when all put together. Here's the crib skirt I made, the changing table I painted and the changing pad cover I made! The walls will be grey and the crib will be white! I'm currently making something similar to this pom Pom mobile to hang above the crib!
Need a wooden monogram for the collage above her dresser, bedding and a glider. And I ordered the gold antlers from Etsy to hang headbands on yesterday!
I am thinking white ruffle curtains and I have no clue about the glider color. I love this sweet room.
