Sushi! All the time, day or night. I haven't had it since I ate an entire package of grocery store sushi before I knew I was pregnant. But tomorrow my mom is taking my husband and I out for my birthday and I will have it at last (though not grocery store this time). I (almost) literally cannot wait.
The K.C. Old Fashioned sandwich from Baker Bros. with a LOT of extra horseradish... (Somewhat unrelated: Tried their potato salad today and what a disappointment! A potato salad should have something in it besides mayo...)
I haven't really had cravings for much in a while... This first tri I was all about runny eggs and toast with cream cheese every single day for breakfast.
I really want sushi lately! The good stuff, like a spicy salmon roll. :-( How do I satisfy that craving?
You can have it. Sushi is allowed if it's from a reputable place that you know follows best practice in terms of refrigeration. Seafood overall should be limited to about once a week and you should avoid high Mercury seafood. Enjoy that spicy salmon roll!

Taco Bell. It's horrible for me, but I don't even care. And anything with cheese... Mac & cheese, cheese toast, cheese dip. I ate cold turkey & cheese for a snack for a week straight.Definitely craving carbs more than usual, but Taco Bell has been the biggest craving so far.
I think I figured out this pregnancy craving business. I always thought that once I got pregnant I would crave my favorite "bad" foods (i.e.: chocolate, cookies, desserts etc). The opposite happened. I often lose appetite in the afternoon/ early evening (better now at 15 weeks but still not perfect). And when I lose appetite but I'm still hungry, I go through my whole mental database of foods and nothing sounds good. Usually there is one thing in my entire "mental food database" that feels ok to eat, and that's what I go for. It's not really a craving, it's the only thing that I can consider eating... In the first trimester that was eggs. I ate a ton of scrambled eggs. Now in the second tri, a recurrent favorite has been a combination of mashed potatoes, peas as carrots. In fact my husband is presently cooking me precisely scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes and peas. Lol Occasionally I'll "crave" fruit smoothies and Froot Loops.
I'm so shocked that I haven't wanted anything sweet! Pizza is my worst craving right now. I keep telling baby she can't have pizza everyday! Finally left the chocolate milk craving behind last week. My OB said make sure you're getting protein but all my body wants are carbs!
This is the first week I've been able to have food other than carbs. I was living off bagels and cheese for over a month. My cravings right now, cranberry juice and salads!
Vinegar-y things like pickles, salt and vinegar chips, salad dressing, also buffalo sauce, and baked potatoes. I rarely crave sweets which is odd bc that's all I wanted with my son and I generally have a crazy sweet tooth. If I want sweets, I stick to chocolate but it's rare! It's very strange, this pregnancy I feel like someone messed with all my taste buds or something.
Anyone else feel hungry for their "your baby is the size of a _____" fruit? Makes me feel a bit weird, like im symbolicly eating baby or something, but when it was a lime, i went out and bought limaide, same with peaches, this week im on lemon, so i just had a puffed pancake with lemon juice and powdered sugar for breakfast... maybe im just weak when it comes to the power of suggestion? Lol Also, @allaire314 i totally agree!
OMG thank you!!! I thought I was the only oddball who did this!
I bought my husband an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen on Friday for his birthday and now its taunting me in the freezer. So good but I have to refrain from eating it all the time!
I haven't had any cravings in particular yet, but last night I dipped a french fry in my vanilla ice cream and my husband started laughing hysterically and said, 'Yep, you're definitely pregnant".
I said ".....uhhh, I've been doing this for years."
It's good to know I'm not the only one craving Mexican food! Other than that, this baby is a vegetarian. It's carbs, carbs, carbs, which is strange for me since I've been Paleo/Whole 30 for 3 years now...
Is no one else completely REPULSED by the thought of Mexican food? ughhhh I don't know if I'll ever eat it again...
I'm totally disgusted by Mexican food, which DH and I joke about all the time because it's usually my favorite and he's, well, Mexican. Anything spicy or peppery or near authentic Mexican makes me want to hurl, especially after throwing up salsa several weeks ago.
Sugar. Anything with sugar or anything sour. When I get nauseous I literally have to get a Coke slush from the convince store and it's the only thing that stops me from feeling sick. I swore this pregnancy I'd eat better but I've been failing big time
Re: Cravings !
But then again I've also been obsessed with super cold tangerines AND any and every kind of cheese!
