We did this on my last BMB and everyone loved it. I know some are obvious, like they're your first name or whatever, but what is the meaning behind your bump name?

My first pregnancy we called the fetus "nacho" as a joke because I craved nachos one time. It was so random. It was a MMC at 9 weeks

DS's pregnancy all I could eat was peaches. I still threw them up but it was basically the only thing I could stomach eating.

My original bump name was jdoud77, and that was from when I joined The Knot in 2010. Then I switched it to Wowcheezits because I play World of Warcraft and the cheezits part was I was just bored. Rebelone has no significance other than I just ran out of names and I was listening to George Thorogood and was thinking how much a rebel he was. Very lame, but there you have it.

Ha ha ha I had to go back to one of my previous comments to remember what my bump name was - perhaps I should post that on the pregnancy brain thread! Ha ha... but Allaire is my last name and DH and I were married on 3-14... We gave out pie pops as our wedding favors...

Erin is my first name, d is the first initial of my maiden name, 228 is my freshman dorm room #. Basically, this was the first account name I ever made for myself way back when before the Internet was a #bigdeal. I've stuck with it for old times sake.

My boss at work has called me little red for the past 8 years or so (I'm a redhead obviously). The x2 part came in because my husband is also a redhead and his best friend wrote a song about us called red x's 2.

@NachosAndPeaches I love yours. At first I thought you were asking what we're calling our baby bumps. That story is way more interesting than my name, which is just DH's and my middle names. His name is one in a million but mine's not so I stuck with my generic mn.

DH calls me Kimey cuz of my last name. But it was taken so I added a 1.

@yodiggity I was going to ask if you were 90's a fan!

I worked at gold's gym when I was 18 so I came up with golds girl. 9 was my high school and college softball jersey number which was added cause someone beat me to goldsgirl. AOL chat room screen names forevah!!!!!!

(My bump name is pretty boring. My initials, plus the year. Except I've got a hyphenated last name, so I'm not actually sure that the K is actually technically my initial, or whether I should just be AG. Meh. I'm claiming it either way.)

Amazing! I never used to like pie but since being pregnant this time around I've had it like 3 times already.

@eastdurian I'm not a huge pie fan, but with our wedding date we couldn't help the play on words, and they turned out so delicious I was hooked on the pops!!

I used to live in the Philippines too! And I couldn't stand durian! Made me queasy just normally...can only imagine pregnant!!

I graduated college with a mechanical engineering degree, which is usually shortened to Mech-E (pronounced Mek-ee) around the engineer circles. My first name is Catherine, and I go by Cat, but for the un I use kitty because I like the rhyme with mech-e.

@Pinguinageddon my H uses his gamer tag for everything - even has it embroidered on a hat he wears everyday. I think it becomes subconscious after a while.

Poppy, because that is our nickname for the baby, because (s)he was the size of a poppyseed when we found out we were expecting. And 16 because that's the year he's due. Not terribly creative, but easy for me to remember, lol.

Awesome! We were in Manila for 2 years. I got pregnant right after we left but I just remember going to the farmers market and thinking "what is that smell!?" and a few times later realizing that I didn't even notice the smell anymore. I don't think I'll ever forget the smell of stinky tofu though...
