Anything Symptoms: RLS is one of the most annoying sensations I have ever experienced. Still nauseated and exhausted but maybe (maybe?) easing up a bit today.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Why does no one warn you that the first trimester is a puberty-level awkward phase? Seriously, I was probably less awkward as a tween. I just feel so frumpy and gross. Clothes are against me and I don't like
belly bands - they squish all the pant material against my skin and it
is uncomfy. Blarg.
This! Where's the pregnancy glow? This is worse than puberty, I have acne all over my chest and back which is a first. I also can't get comfy in my clothes.
I got lucky with MS and have had mild nausea. Instead I'm eating everything I can get my hands on like it's my last meal. So much for not gaining a bunch in the first tri!
Generally just feel tired and shitty all day from the insomnia. The bloat and constipation is real. It's a miracle every-time I can successfully go.
Progress: estimate is 6+4, will know 10/13 for sure.
Symptoms: EXHAUSTION, itchy nipples, a little nausea and some cramping.
question: did anyone who has had their ultrasound and know baby is ok have symptoms that came and went? My symptoms were much worse a few days ago and I'm really panicking.
@Charla1224 glad to hear you're having similar symptoms. Although they suck! These are good signs things are moving and grooving for your baby! My symptoms come and go! Some days I forget I'm pregnant, other days the symptoms make it really clear I am indeed with child. There is no such thing as "normal" for a pregnancy. What's normal for your body might be cause for concern in mine, and vice versa. that's the hardest part about pregnancy, you question every symptom you have. Probably just the start of your ongoing mommy worries which will last most likely 20+ years! All we can do is support each other on this site and hope and pray everything is ok, normal and that were given strength to get through it all! Bless you all! And I hope we all have a safe, easy, healthy pregnancy!

Symptoms: Nausea seems to be letting up a bit as of today.. Hopefully this trend continues!! I am still tired, and the bloat is becoming horrible. I don't look bloated enough to look truly pregnant--just enough that I have a big gut that's so hard to hide.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I JUST WANT A SODA but all soda tastes like cough syrup to me. OH AND I REALLY WANT DORITOS! But noooo they have MSG in them which makes me super sick. Stupid cravings making me want things I can't have.
I ate a whole bag of Doritos on Sunday before noon. Made DH go out and get them for me. I love that man. And Doritos.
I'm so incredibly jealous. I can manage three smallish sized chips before I start getting sick :-(
Progress: 9 weeks tomorrow
Symptoms: Big fat goose egg... I was dealing with some sore boobs and tiredness, but over the weekend this seemed to all go away. I haven't felt any nausea. Some smell aversions but nothing that I can't manage. Bloat has gone away. Just feeling very not pregnant and losing hope but trying to not obsess... Anyone else?

This is me. Every day. Ill be 9ish weeks on Thursday. The only symptoms I have consistently had are some boob soreness and major fatigue. I keep telling myself "symptoms are not a reliable indication of a viable pregnancy" but I still cant shake the feeling that when I go for my 1st appointment next week, they wont be able to find anything or Ill be diagnosed with a blighted ovum. And I am freaking out.
I am 9 weeks and 2 days.
Feeling the same as you girls! I have been feeling relatively good besides fatigue and some indigestion and tender boobs. My sister made the point that I could just be coping with symptoms better because I am more aware.
New symptom today though- I feel like my sides and stomach are stretching! It just feels tight like I have pulled muscles and I feel like my stomach is extra hard when I touch it. Someone said maybe its just gas but it's a completely new feeling. Anyone else feeling something similar??
@aamm04 I feel the exact same way. I am approx 8w1d (due date was adjusted at my appointment last week) and I was experiencing pretty bad nausea and fatigue but have randomly felt better the past two days? I am nervous because I'm a nervous person but logic tells me things are more likely to be okay than not okay!
NAUSEA: Last week the nausea let up (which was only at a moderately annoying but otherwise manageable level anyhow) but this week it came back with a vengeance. Still no throwing up but I feel like it's imminent, frequently. Finding food to eat is a difficult game. Have to eat something because now the hunger pangs from the last meal being cut short are worse than the nausea. Satisfied for like 20 minutes, then I feel awful for hours.
ACNE: It is worse (although since I can't use my usual products I don't know if it's the pregnancy or just lack of treatment- except the shoulders-- I blame pregnancy for that!)
SLEEP: I have always been a super night owl, but I have even more trouble sleeping at night now. And the RLS. Once I finally get to sleep-- really get to sleep-- I sleep well and can return to sleep if I have to get up to pee, but until then, it's miserable. I toss and turn every 30 sec to a minute-- NOTHING is comfortable (even with the pregnancy pillow). Some nights I move to the couch so I don't wake my husband (since my job only has mornings twice a week but he wakes up at 6 every day) but now he insists I sleep in bed and he's sleeping in the living room. Poor guy.
OTHER: Little twinges and stretching feelings in the abdomen. Some gas/bloating. Breasts feel full/heavy. No constipation though!
Does anyone have pain in the solar plexus area, just below the ribcage, slightly to the right?
I have really been struggling yesterday at work, and it's no better today.
Sitting in front of my screen at work is INCREDIBLY uncomfortable, and I have to keep getting up and move around as it's just constantly painful. Not cramps or anything like that. Just a pain.
So I just realize when I'm falling asleep I start drooling. I didn't do this before. I've heard that you have more saliva. Anyone else?
I read that this is totally normal. I may also be experiencing it since i developed tmj as soon as i got pregnant and had to get a mouth guard, so now I'm feeling "thooper thexy" lol!
(Sorry got a little long-winded....totally miserable today - pretty much worst day so far and needed to get it off my chest to ladies who relate and sympathize)
Anything Symptoms: HOLY BOOBS- overflowing a D now, they are super sore, itchy and super FIRM. Like fake boob amazing perky things that don't actually need a bra - DH can't stop staring. NAUSEA - holy crap. Haven't actually vomited yet, but really thinking today may be the day. Was brushing my teeth/gargling this morning and thought I was going to lose it. Now I'm cowering at my desk munching on fritos FOOD/SMELL AVERSIONS- Food is becoming a major issue. Meal planning has now become impossible because I'll be planning all day to make X and then when I go to actually make or eat it, I take one bite and want to hurl. Last night I picked up Outback to-go and had to drive home with the windows down because the smell wafting from DH's ribs were making me gag. DIGESTIVE STRIKE- I completely relate to pooping as an olympic sport comment. I have IBS which was under control before BFP, now it's completely out of wack - I'm pretty sure most of my abdominal pain and cramping is just intestinal and don't get me started on bloating. EXHAUSTION - i just go home and lay in bed after work. Not that I was a marathon runner or super active person before, but I just can't move after working all day - and I feel like such a wuss. SHORTNESS OF BREATH - the flight of stairs at work wind me completely (not to mention the 3 flights at home) and can't walk at my normal fast clip any more. SLEEP ISSUES - Last couple weeks I've had insomnia, this week I'd say I'm more fitfull sleeper with crazy dreams and frequent pee trips. PREGGO BRAIN - Absolutely can't concentrate or think. It's like suddafed brain on steroids. I missed a meeting today - just forgot about it and didn't show up....it was MY meeting... Totally waiting for my boss to sit me down and ask what the hell is wrong with me. At least I'm not tearing up when a customer looks at me funny any more. Though I have stink face any time someone has too much perfume on or I forget what I'm saying mid sentence.
I'm only at 6w2d today and I'm assuming it's pregnancy related, but holy diarrhea around lunch time! I had to run to the bathroom like 3 times and ended up needing a sub for my last two classes of the day. I hate leaving work early. I've had digestive issues in the past so I've left early before but I feel like such a whiney person when I do. Luckily my principal knows I'm pregnant. I told her early since I wasn't sure how many times I would need to leave early due to doctors apts and bloodwork.
I'm 10w4d ..... And all I have to say is this ....
Dear lower back,
Pleeeeeeaaaassseeee stop hurting already. I can't take drugs to help you!!!
Sincerely, Painfully Pregnant
So ... Other than my lower back, I feel pretty good. Just slight nausea that is gradually disappearing (today is a bad day but I've been good all week) and slight sore boobs. Sometimes I feel a tight stretch when laying on my side so I found having a pillow there helps.
Symptoms: So so tired. I get about 9+ hours of sleep a night and can still take an afternoon nap when my schedule allows and I feel like I haven't slept in days!
Still gagging and dry heaving courtesy of smells! Definitely getting better though!!! TIP***** if feeling nauseous try going outside instead of in the bathroom. It's a much nicer place and like mentioned earlier fresh air goes a long way!
Boobs are sore and I'm super bloated but things seem to be getting over all better other than the tiredness!
So I know cramps are totes normal, and I am not questioning it. Just wondering if anyone had them go away for a few weeks, then come back with a vengeance? I would say the cramping stopped about week 6 for me. Yesterday was the start of week 9, and all week, they have definitely made a comeback! I actually don't mind them (I mean, if my uterus is growing, then something must be in there, right??).

I hope that's normal, because my symptoms have been exactly the same. Mine went away around 6 weeks. I am 10 weeks tomorrow, and the past week they have come back for sure. I don't mind them at all because I kept reading about how I should be feeling cramping and was like, ummmmm....where are mine?
I have this fear of a missed miscarriage. So going into my appointment on Monday, I am such a ball of nerves. I keep telling myself, if there was no reason for the ute to grow, I wouldn't be feeling cramps, to try and calm myself down! I just want Monday to be over. Its either going to be the highest of highs, or the lowest of lows...

I felt the EXACT same way. In fact, during the ultrasound, I was literally looking at the baby on the screen, the Tech was typing the word "baby" onto the screen, and I was like, "MA'AM ARE YOU SURE". She probably thought I was insane.
So many symptoms... BOOBS - I've never looked down and not been able to see all of my boob. Now the under-half is hiding from me and it's freaking me out. I've always loved having little tiny boobs so I keep showing my husband so at least someone can appreciate them. NAUSEA - Thought this had gone away, but I think it was just getting ready to unleash. Told DH I didn't feel good and he started listing foods I should try eating, and just thinking about specific foods sent me running to the bathroom. DROOLING - Whoever mentioned the drooling thing... I hadn't connected that to pregnancy, but yes my naps have been frequent and filled with drool. FATIGUE - Speaking of... yeah, tired constantly, napping like a maniac. BIONIC SMELLING - I am constantly smelling something extreme, and waiting for someone else to point it out, but then nobody ever does. It's just me. And I now know that there is still dog pee somewhere in our dining room, it reeks so bad. MOOD SWINGS - Epic meltdown #1 a few nights ago. Tear up from every other thing on my facebook, it's pretty annoying. METAL MOUTH - This comes and goes, but sometimes I get the worst metallic taste in my mouth, and nothing really makes it go away.
This thing is taking over my body, can't believe it's only been a few weeks (of actually knowing I was pregnant).

I still feel that way!! Even after seeing the heartbeat flicker at 6w4d I'm not going to be convinced all is OK until my appt on Tuesday. I feel like a psycho but MMCs are frightening. I just want to fast forward to next week... we're almost there!!!!
I have been experiencing nausea in the middle of the night. I dismissed it the first time, but now it's happened at least three times. Such a weird time of day for nausea! And not helping with my sleeplessness. I'm also on board with the bionic sense of smell. I am constantly asking my husband if he smells that, to which he just looks at me strangely. And oh so tired.
Having experienced a MMC I'm definitely suspicious of symptoms as evidence. I don't trust my body to communicate useful information to me after last time. Everything was great at 8w but after a few days, I started worrying again, and I won't have the 12w appointment until the end of the month. I just can hope until then.
Those of you with back pain: I strongly recommend the Snoogle! It hit me early on, and at the end of the day when I'm feeling sore, a good night's sleep on my Snoogle, and I wake up feeling a million times better.
I still have 19 days till my next US ( so I'm insanely scared of having a MMC. Even though we saw the HB at 6w5d, I can't help it. I wish I would've had my early US closer to 8w instead :-S
I'm a mess. I spent last weekend horribly nauseous and throwing up, then had to fight off vomiting while I traveled for work this week. It was terrible. My food aversions are basically everything, which is difficult when food options are only airport food.
I'm so glad that I'm not travelling next week and I have an appt with U/S next Tuesday!
So I have had a headache most of the day at work. On my way home it got so bad I feel like I need to throw up (I don't have ms). I took some Tylenol about 30 minutes ago and tried to eat but it is still terrible. I just want it to go away.

My biggest symptom from 4weeks on has been breast tenderness. No big deal. I had it with my first as well. However, it has gotten worse and I often feel engorged the way u did when breast feeding 3.5 years ago. My left breast feels worse than the right and in one spot the pain is sharp and feels like a clogged milk duct. So TMI but I decided to try expressing my nipple to just see what happens and I massaged the sore spot at the same time. Well what do you know, I have colostrum! I've been doing this once a day to relieve the pain. Anyone else experiencing this?
@FireInWonderland I've been having trouble sleeping, too, but have found a lot of relief by taking 250 mg of Vitamin B1 before bed. It can help a lot with stress and bad dreams, and helps me stay asleep and sleep deeper.
Does it help regulate temperature? That's the thing that keeps me awake most right now : ' (
