I'm a director at a college in academics. I work with students with learning disabilities as well as managing the tutoring center on campus. It's cool to see some other higher ed professionals in here!
I'm a psychiatric nurse at a university hospital. I'm currently working 4 days a week (32 hrs.) and would like to keep it that way. I'm debating when I should go back for my masters.
I'm a PhD student. I teach college students and do research and I hope to continue that once I have my degree. My schedule is flexible to a certain extent, so I stay home with my daughter one day a week because daycare is expensive and because I want to take advantage of the flexibility while I can.
I'm a registered nurse that specializes in oncology and chemotherapy. I love what I do but now that I'm pregnant I have to be very careful around the chemotherapy even though we practice safe handling precautions with a chemotherapy safe gown and gloves.
I work part time in two different libraries (one elementary school, one public) and am going to school for my associate's in Web Development. Before baby, I was planning on leaving one of my jobs and focusing more on school. Now, I'm not sure what I'll do once baby is here!
I'm the general manager of a small business I partially own, working 50 hrs/wk on average. Have a 6 yo dd, had the same job then. But company is much larger this pregnancy will be more challenging! ;-)
I own a marketing agency. I love what I do! This is my 2nd baby and with my first I hardly took any time off. I won't be making that mistake again! Just trying to figure out how to make it work with clients and my team.
I enjoy it, mostly, but it has definite disadvantages. It's an incredibly stressful job, I work most holidays, and there's not a lot of down-time for me to relax during the day.
It sucks being queasy and exhausted all day and not being able to tell anyone about the pregnancy yet. Most days I just push on through, but I'm miserable while I'm there.
I'm a professional (licensed and work in a licensed establishment) tattoo artist. Wondering how difficult tattooing will be once I'm all big and pregnant lol

@luxani I'm going to say that you have the coolest job I've seen so far
I am a lead engineer with a large aerospace company. My other half (the one who's pregnant) works IT at a local college. She has to walk all over the place to deal with computer issues. So far, so good but hopefully they'll let her handle issues remotely as things go along.

Haha, it's alright. It's not as glamorous as a lot of people think, but I
do like it. It's definitely a "different" type of job. Lots of
freedom for sure.
I am a SAHM part time and a social worker and lactation consultant (at our Childrens Hospital) the other days! So fun to read these! Social workers, represent!

I just love tattoos! I have the itch for another one but obviously that won't happen for a while- and I promised the hubby that he can get a new one first (it's his turn to be fair)
Id say SAHM except I'm not a mom...SAHW? Spent a while getting residency and then after I was able to work we decided to start TTC. I knew I wanted to be a SAHM and DH is more than happy with that so he just suggested not getting into work if I am just going to have to leave anyways. Technically I own a company so that DH can do programming contracts when he wants and get paid through that but other than dealing with the financial side of it I wouldn't count it as a job.
It makes me feel like I have no real purpose at the moment but that will change soon enough.
