@BVBabyHopeful - I used to read a lot too, but DH doesn't really like to read either. Our compromise is that I will read while he watches sports (teams that I don't care about)! Then he can talk to me when something happens, but I don't sit there uninterested in whatever team he's watching. I have issues with this arrangement only when I'm reading a crappy book... I still have a hard time convincing myself to give up on a book I hate!
Congrats to the BFPs! Hopefully we'll keep this going all month long
***Chart Stalk please??*** Month/Cycle: 1
CD/DPO: 17/4
Timing: -3,-2,-1,O,+2
Testing Plans: 16 DPO if I can hold out. In laws are visiting 14 and 15 dpo and I don't want to either a. ruin the weekend with sadness or b.not be able to keep it secret.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: I am about to kill my dog (not really, promise). He was always great about not getting out of his bed until my alarm until the past week or so. I temp when my alarm goes off at 6:30 and he has been up at 5:45, 5:50 or 6:00 3 days out of the last 6 scratching at the gate at the top of the stairs to let us know he had to pee so I've been temping early and have stupid open circles which I hate. If I set an alarm earlier he'll wake up and likely decide he has to pee then so it's not really an option unless I want to be outside with him even earlier. Does my chart look normal for having woken up 30-45 min early a few days?
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? 1. My ability to get things done on short notice/under heavy pressure. In fact I usually do better under pressure. 2. I've been told I am quite good at making complex topics easier to understand. 3. My addiction to learning everything I can about a topic.
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? 1.) My sense of humor 2.) My ability to cook well 3.) My reading habit
@hockeyfan42 I need tips on estsaishing and keeping a good reading habit. I LOVE reading for pleasure. And used to be really happy with how many books I was reading every month (before dating DH). But now I miss it. DH doesn't read for pleasure at all and I feel he doesn't understand why I would want to sit and read instead of enjoy hanging out with him.
I like to set aside time to read in bed before I fall asleep every night. I read on road trips. (while DH listens to awful talk radio) I also do what @Kballew10 suggested and read during DH's all day sportsfests. I always keep my book in my purse when I go out, too. I love my nook app as well. Oh! And I'm doing this reading challenge with a friend. It has helped me branch out and find new authors. https://www.popsugar.com/love/Reading-Challenge-2015-36071458
ETA: nerd alert! Haha
June 2016 April Siggy Challenge: Reasons my kid is crying
* not keeping track of days and dpo, but I have an FF confirmed ovulation*
Timing: 2 days before Fertile window, ED in fertile window except O day (if FF was correct when it changed my original O date) and the day after O
Testing Plans: Columbus day at the earliest, missed AF which would be the following Wednesday at the latest
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: Sleep continues to be so much better since I'm not temping after cross hairs. I have an ob/gyn appt today and I'm a little nervous for no good reason. Although I am doing much better with not tracking days post ovulation, I still can't stop the thoughts; "Am I pregnant? Am I not? Will it happen this month? Please God let it happen this month! There is only a 20% chance, so it probably didn't happen. But wait, people get pregnant all the time, including drug addicts, so that glass of wine shouldn't' have done anything to prevent implantation. No it's not's my month, I just KNOW it. I'm going to get a BFN when I finally test and cry bc I'll feel like the world is over. Everyone is pregnant! When will it be me!" Yea so that's my thought process lately. ) It's sad. Not tracking has brought the volume down though from 10 decibels last month to 4 decibels this month, but it's still there unfortunately.
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? I am intelligent, empathetic, and loyal
@hockeyfan42 I need tips on estsaishing and keeping a good reading habit. I LOVE reading for pleasure. And used to be really happy with how many books I was reading every month (before dating DH). I'm being a creepy lurker...
But I download audiobooks for free from my library and listen to them on my commute. I have a 45 min one way drive. I go through about a book a week give or take. I also listen at home when I am doing mindless things by myself. I always turn it off when DH is around though... Some of the books have some "steamy" parts and he thinks it's weird to listen to that while folding clothes or putting getting ready for work .
I also find that I get really into series. I don't like having to meet new characters every new book lol. A great one is the In Death series by JD Robb.., like 40ish books long so it's a almost a year before I have to worry about finding new imaginary literary friends
@BVBabyHopeful could you ask YH to run interference on your BIL? You don't need that stress. And you MIL could be depressed due to her diagnosis, which could cause the lack of appetite.
Month/Cycle: 2
CD/DPO: 27/8
Timing:-1
Testing Plans: probably Thursday, dpo 10
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk:
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? My intelligence, my compassion, and my confidence.

@laurenm2123 your chart seems to have a lot of up and down. Are you a mouth breather?? You are not out until you are out! (I remember saying this to @mrsschmity this week and see what happened to her!!)
Yes I am definitely a mouth breather- never knew until now. This is my second month temping but last month I was really inconsistent. If I don't get my BFP this month I may switch to vaginal temping.
CD/DPO: CD33 (must have been sleeping yesterday when I posted CD31 haha), 17DPO
Timing: -2, -1
Testing Plans: waiting until Thursday, CD35
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: Freaking exhausted this morning. Could barely speak English when I woke up. Hating on being at work. Had a huge, painful cramp 20 minutes ago and felt a gush, ran to the bathroom, tampon in hand thinking this was AF, and nope- CM. Annoyed. This is my longest cycle in two years. I feel like my body is playing tricks on me. Will be really surprised if I test positive Thursday or even make it that far. Also, weird dreams last night- dreamt I was raped (seriously, wtf?) and then had a dream about a house fire seminar with re-enactment LOL. Super weird.
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? 1. Personality 2. Intelligence 3. Ability to stay calm in panicked situations
@laurenm2123 if you are a mouth breather I recommend taking your temp a couple of time to see. I thought bbt was SUPER sensitive with everyone saying do not move, don't get up etc. Being a curious person, I decided to take my temp over the day for a couple of days (ok honestly it's kind of an habit now. It help that I'm at home and bored!) I realized that my morning temp is fairly stable +/- 0.05 to 0,1 difference until after lunch. I still chart the first reading when I wake up but it helped me figuring my temp better. But like you said vaginal temping would be a great reliable way. I've been doing both (with 2 different thermometer) this month to realized they are almost identical! (Was really surprise!)
Testing Plans: Friday if AF doesn't show. @mrsschmity is giving me inspiration!
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: I am so sick. Full on sinus explosion, coughing, look and sound gross. I should probably not go to work, but I get so stressed calling out that it's worse than going and being miserable. And I can't help but think that if this isn't an immune response to implantation, I'm going to be pissed! ( Is that crazy or what?
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? I like that I'm good at what I do for work. I like knowing that I could support myself without DH, but it's more fun with him. I like that answering this is uncomfortable for me. Probably means I'm not totally self-centered.

R/R/CS: Just truckin along! Through these 4 cycles I think I've felt every twinge, feeling and possible "symptom" that could lead me to think I'm KTFU that I'm pretty immune to symptom spotting by now. I've felt them all and they've all lead to BFNs so they're not tricking me this time!
GTKY: I'm a good cook/baker, I have a good sense of humor and I care deeply about those close to me.
Me - 30; DH - 30
TTC #1 since June 2015 3/16 - Started infertility testing 4/16 - SA results: borderline low count/morph 8/16 - Ultrasound and HSG: all clear! Prescribed Bromocriptine for elevated Prolactin levels. 9/16 - Prolactin down to normal levels!
Testing plans: I tested this morning, I know it's still early but bfn with wondfo test. Gonna test from now on until AF (but see rant about AF)
Rants/raves: been having cramping since Sunday-which was 7dpo and it's not overly painful just annoying. I had a word this morning with my uterus - no af. Haha. I am doing a course for work and it's so hard to focus on it when my mind is clearly on ttc/2ww. Lol. I have a baby shower for a friend coming up and another friend is due any day for her little one. But I have to stay focused on homework, assignments, and studying. Easier said than done.
What are 3 favourite things about yourself? 1st is prolly my memory - I have a good memory and can remember details well. Hope that continues into later in life. And it comes in handy, SO doesn't have much of a memory if you want to call it a memory even. 2nd is my work ethic - I work hard and don't settle for any less than the best I can do. 3rd is I'm good with people - all different kinds of people. I'm proud of that.

Well congrats @sorarose! I don't blame you, the ladies here are pretty great
****chart stalk, anyone?***
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 20/5
Timing: -2, -1, 0, 1
Testing Plans: who am I kidding? I'm going to TRY to make it to 14DPO.... we will see.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: can someone give me an opinion on my chart? It's my first month temping and I'm a little clueless as to what I'm looking at... Though it does look like I actually ovulated!
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? Hmmm. My hair. It's fairly long now and that's cool. I like the fact that I can form coherent sentences online... I'm also proud of the fact that I really care about other people. I always try to help others if I possibly can. People have taken advantage though and that makes me kinda sad...
@dabeezkneez that does look promising. Keep us updated!
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 25/11
Timing: -2, +1
Testing Plans: None unless no AF on Sunday.
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: Nothing really today
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? I'm a bookworm, tend to put myself in others' shoes which leads to less judging/more empathy, and am always looking to learn
PS- I like this GTKY question - it's not often in life we get to talk ourselves up and feel good about our positive attributes
ETA- testing plans and raves/rants because phone app is acting up again.
Omg so cool to see all the BFPs today!!! Congrats ladies! So happy!
*********question about temping down below**********
Month/cycle: 2/2
Cd/DPO: 23/12
Timing- O
Testing plans: none unless no AF on Sunday (unless of course I can't wait which I've been soooooo known to do)
Rants/raves/chart stalk: since I have just recently learned so much about temping and things, I really don't know when I ovulated this month which is why temping is going to happen next cycle but today I spotted some EWCM so even though I'm pretty sure I'm not in my FW considering I'm supposed to start AF on Sunday I'm still going to HIO because I deserve it and I can. Lol!
GTKY: 1) sense of humor. 2) my passion for all of my passions if that makes sense? 3) when I love someone, my love for you is through and through.
Question: when do I actually begin temping? Is it the first day of AF? My first day so typically brown/spotting. Or do I start when there is full flow? Thanks!
@Kstu728 You can start temping at any time...I would recommend starting now so that you get the hang of it and get into a routine before your next cycle. As far as knowing which day to count as CD1, most people will use the day they see red blood (no brown spotting). Good luck!
@Kstu728 - I started temping mid-cycle... I figured it would be best to get into the habit before the next full cycle, it would be nice to have a general idea as to where my temps usually were, and I have such long cycles that I probably hadn't missed my O yet. But I'm a math/numbers nerd, so I liked having the data anyway!
Congrats on the multiple BFP's what a way to start the day!!!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 18/5
Timing: -5, -2, 0
Testing Plans: Maybe on 10dpo but I'll be in a 5 day workshop so I'll probably forget because I'll be so busy. So sometime after 12-14dpo
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: ***TMI*** I've been feeling A LOT more cervical mucus since ovulation, I never feel this "wet" post ovulation. Who knows what that means :-0
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself?
1. I am a fantastic teacher, and I love to teach from what I have learned through my own experiences.
2. My ability to stay positive and connect to my intuition.
3. I am a good friend, I don't have a lot of friends, but I am very loyal and caring to the ones I have.
@Kstu728, if you aren't temping how do you know you are 12 dpo? That would put you ovulating on CD 11 which is on the early side, and it would give you a 17 day luteal phase if AF arrives sunday, which is pretty long. It is possible you haven't ovulated yet. I would start temping tomorrow morning!
Honorable mentions: Biggest IF support sister, sweetest bumpie, most genuine, LFAFer you'd most like to visit, great things come in small packages, pocket sized babe
@BVBabyHopeful I'm sorry for all that stress. You're being a really great daughter-in-law. Hope your MIL's chemo goes well!
M/C 3/3 CD/DPO 22/5
Timing: -4, -2, -1, +3
Testing: Next Tuesday if AF stays away.
R/R/CS: FF changed my crosshairs to CD17 from CD15 the other day. I'm not convinced but was rolling with it until today when I had a big jump from a drop yesterday. Of course my brain is like, "ooo must be triphasic??" FF must be wrong! Even though I'm pretty sure that regardless of O date it would be too early for that--not to mention I think Triphasic is fairly rare? Anyway, shut up, brain. Let logic prevail.
GTKY: I'm good at my job when I'm not distracted by this board, I know what I want and I generally go get it, and I think I'm a generally nice person.
So I went to the obgyn, exam went well nothing abnormal. She was really awesome. I got my preservative free flu shot today too just in case . One thing that was concerning to me is that she warned me that even TTC lube could potentially slow motility so, she said not use too much. She said it could have no effect at all either, but you never know, which makes me feel paranoid because I used it every time we DTD to keep up the pace of ED sex during the fertile window….. FX that it had no effect at all. I like the way October is rolling out this month. Trying to allow myself to be optimistic at the same time, wanting to stay grounded in case I'm disappointed which is a hard stance to maintain.
@createillumination I am having the same situation as you CM like whoa!!! I actually feel like I need to change my underwear because there is so much of it. ***TMI****

My feeling is if you need the lube to make it pleasurable/less painful, definitely use it. Although my fertility has no bearing on yours, we used pre-seed this month and got our BFP.

My Chart
*********question about temping down below**********
Month/cycle: 2/2
Cd/DPO: 23/12
Timing- O
Testing plans: none unless no AF on Sunday (unless of course I can't wait which I've been soooooo known to do)
Rants/raves/chart stalk: since I have just recently learned so much about temping and things, I really don't know when I ovulated this month which is why temping is going to happen next cycle
Thanks!
Eta: added my question
3/16 - Started infertility testing
4/16 - SA results: borderline low count/morph
8/16 - Ultrasound and HSG: all clear! Prescribed Bromocriptine for elevated Prolactin levels.
9/16 - Prolactin down to normal levels!
IUI #1 - 9/21/16 - Clomid 50mg, Estrace, Ovidrel, Progesterone/Estradiol - 4 follies - BFP! EDD 6/15/17 Team PINK!
CD/DPO: 15/2
Timing: -1, 0
Testing Plans: 12 DPO
Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: I went to the dentist for a cleaning and I have to have a bunch of fillings next week. Ugh.
GTKY: What are your three favorite things about yourself? I am honest, I am passionate, I like to improve myself/leaarn.

M/C 3/3
CD/DPO 22/5
I feel like everyone knew but me lol I was in denial and seriously felt like AF was coming any minute!
I hope that when I'm a creepy lurker I see BFP's from all of you very soon. You know I'll be watching and checking in :x
