I don't think we've had this one yet, but nicknames have come up in other threads. What do you call your little baby now that he/she is still in your belly?
Ours is Boontje ('Boan-cha'), which is Dutch for Little Bean. DH has decided that if LO is Little Bean, I am now his Pod. :P
Before we got pregnant we would say Maybe Baby. Now that we know we use size reference. Sweet pea and Blueberry, but our usual is -the thing, or -It. As we are keeping the gender a secret Ha-ha.
We've been calling it baby bean. I don't want to use he/she til we know, because my daughter will get stuck on whatever we've been using, and will get confused if it's the opposite
Ours is a ridiculous. My husband all the sudden one day said "Shemp" because it sounds absolutely ridiculous with our last name. But he has good logic...right now it's DH, our dog, and me (three stooges). Shemp is the name of the little known fourth stooge.
Re: GTKY - What do you call your unborn LO(s)?
Since my addition to aubergines this nickname has now developed to little Aubergine Blueberry White (partners surname)
