April 2016 Moms

no breast tenderness yet.

I am about to be 11 weeks pregnant and i have yet to see an increase in breast size or tenderness. Is anyone going through the same? Is this normal? Anyone?

Re: no breast tenderness yet.

  • There's a huge symptoms thread at the top of the board. However I also have not. I was still BFing DD at the time I got pregnant though. Figured my boobs already knew what's up

  • I'm sorry you haven't had to deal with an uncomfortable symptom.

(Snark aside lack of symptoms does not mean unhealthy pregnancy.)

Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)
Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks
Fourth BFP 8/2015, hoping for sticky little brother or sister to H!

  • I've only had a little bit of tenderness and maybe a bit "fuller" as opposed to bigger. I can't wear a bra most days because of my psoriasis, though, so not complaining about the delay!

My understanding is that symptoms vs no symptoms isn't meaningful, it's just our bodies reacting differently.

13.5 weeks here and breast changes have been minimal. Everyone is different...
  • I had no symptoms with DD, breasts never changed and only ever got bigger if I'd gone too long between feedings, obviously after she was born. I think my breasts are only really tender this time because they remember 18 months of BFing DD, they also are a size bigger already which never happen last time.
  • I hate to be rude, but this seriously comes up every day.
  • You should feel lucky. Mine are hurting really badly. You won't have all the symptoms related to pregnancy, it's normal. Every woman reacts differently to the increase of hormones.
