  My husband is 31 and his middle name is Grey. It's a family surname. I personally think if you don't have a connection to it, it's sort of a made up middle name. I don't get it's sudden spike on popularity. I don't know, I think a more classic name is preferable. I think your other two options are both great.

  This. Grey seems to becoming the boys Grace or Rose.

  
  

  Like those names, I'd recommend avoiding it unless you have a family connection/meaning to it.

  Short and consonant heavy to follow a long vowel heavy first name: Dale, David, Lucas, Mark/Marcus, Peter, Thomas, Charles

  We also have a "Z" last name and Abraham is on our list too! Personally I would go with a shorter middle name since Abraham is longer. Someone suggested to me to yell the first and middle name like your mad to see how it sounds/flows.. My mom only used my middle name when I was in trouble so they usually got yelled! Haha good luck!
