Emma or Lucy poll

I know....I know... all about Emma's popularity and what will come with the name Emma but I have loved this name for a long time and have tried to let this name go! I have searched high and low to find another name and my youngest came up with Lucy 2 years ago if we had another baby. We find out Monday if we are having a b/g. Lately Emma has come back to haunt me! Ha

Which name would you choose? Boys are Trent and Ryan. Trent loves Emma and Ryan loves Lucy.

    I really don't care for the popularity of Emma and probably wouldn't choose it because of thaf but I do love it more than Lucy.

    I voted Emma. Yes, it's popular but it's also classic and beautiful. I don't have anything against Lucy though, I just prefer Emma.

    Both are beautiful. I prefer Lucy as it is a name with personal importance but Emma is beautiful too and will stand the test of time.

    I prefer Lucy as the nickname with Lucille as the given.  Emma is popular but it's more classic popular than trendy popular so I don't hate it.  It's just like Sophia/Sofia.  Popular name because it's beautiful.  I voted Emma.  Had it been Lucille nn Lucy I would have voted that.

    I voted Emma. But I do like the name Lucy. Maybe her name could be Emma Middle name Lucy ? Emma Lucy kinda has a nice ring to it.

    Oh my goodness, I feel your pain! Both names are at the tippy top of my list if a. we are blessed with baby #3 and b. if said blessing is a girl!

    I have loved the name Emma for over 30 years now. That being said, just before we had our DD friends of ours named their LO Emma. So that name was out for us. We went with Emeline (long i) and don't regret it.
