We always put up our tree the day of the Toronto Santa Claus parade, I can't wait to decorate the new house for christmasfor the first time! I'm fully prepared for the fact that the house may stay decorated until February, I doubt I'll care while loving on my newborn.

Umm.. sad confession..... I never took down my tree from last year. DH and I never have company and I didn't really have storage space so we left it up:)
We will have a tree, but my kids will probably do all of the decorating. I used to be really picky about the way the tree looked, but I've learned to let that go since my kids love decorating it so much. We usually put up the tree mid-December. I'm due the 14th, so I think we'll have to do it earlier this year- maybe right after Thanksgiving.
@mrsberry1992 that made me so happy! Also- I wish my guy would be into decorating the tree. He goes to buy it & puts it up, which is all he thinks he needs to do. He'd also prefer just lights, no ornaments, he thinks the tree looks "cluttered" with ornaments. So I oblige him by only putting up matching ornaments usually, but that'll change soon! Also, Xmas eve is when he proposed to me & the tree was a big part of the proposal, so I hope we get one up this year! But we have so many other things that come first! Ack!!
I'm due sometime the first week in Dec. but DH parents are coming the second week of december to help decorate (NO REAL CHRISTMAS TREE AFRAID OF BABY HAVING SOME SORT OF ALLERGIC REACTION) This is perfect because I get to have DH pick up baby to pretend like he is putting the topping on the top of the tree for pictures. It maybe late but I think its worth sharing the experience with little man. :-)
Due date December 2nd, and that tree is going up thanksgiving weekend! I told DH he may have to put it up, and he gave me deer in the headlights look. Nearly all of the lights were out last year so I hand wove lights onto it, and that tree has to have ribbon on it. We already ordered baby's stocking. Dom has a little boy deer and pottery barn kids had a little doe stocking this year so of course I had to order it. O_o
