I'd prefer to go with a midwife because I want a natural birth but because of a preexisting condition I'm considered "high risk".
Any recommendations for great OBs that deal with high-risk patients who would support a natural birth? South or east metro or St. Paul area preferred. Thanks!
Check out the U of MN women's health specialists- they were great and deliver at fairview riverside which is close to St Paul (I live in St Paul and its 10 min away). I used the midwives but they also have OBs; they are supportive of your wishes. Depending on your situation you could see the midwives as they consult with the OBs (they consulted with the OBs during my pregnancy).
Have you talked to Health Foundations Birth Center? They have Midwives and an OB as part of their team.
