Let's do something fun!

Since I'm grumpy today, I think a frustrated/annoyed/bitchy GIF off would cheer me right up.

This is also good practice for UO and FFFC, so see, it has a point!

MrsCase14 Have fun camping! I went a couple weeks ago, and on a Sunday morning hike I was really lagging behind. My husband asked me if I was feeling okay and I said, "Actually, I feel kinda carsick of all things." I didn't even put two and two together until later that it was on that trip in which m/s first appeared, haha.

@vinerie - I will definitely not be attempting any hikes! lol I'm really excited for this trip. It'll be nice to get away from work for a while, catch some fish, shoot some birds, eat a roasted hot dog. Seriously, if I've been craving anything, it's a hot dog cooked on a fire with lots of mustard.

To all you ladies talking about hiking: When I was 6 months pregnant with my son, the school I worked for had classwide end of the year field trips. There was a whale watch for the seniors, a castle tour for the juniors, and a trip to an amusement park for the sophomores. Which one do I get chosen to chaperone? The freshmen hike up Mt. Washington! You should've seen the PE teacher's face when I started having Braxton Hicks halfway up. He for sure thought he was gonna deliver a baby on the side of the mountain.

@vinerie No, it was a planned visit for a spay for our baby kitty, and I really just forgot how expensive everything in. Between the exam, spay, vaccines, flea treatment, etc. I was almost $300. Right after I just paid my credit cards off too....

She's home now and doing well! Much better than when our big kitty was spayed.

Yes, those are their names now. Big kitty and baby kitty. They had names at one point, but now with DD this is what we've evolved to. It's embarrassing when checking in at the vet.

I feel your pain on the vet costs. We have four dogs or rather had four dogs. Now we have three. When we had four earlier this year, one of them ate plastic and got a blockage and had to have surgery, then a few months later got liver disease and died in July. Our other three still need their yearly checkups and shots. We have been keeping on top of the rabies shots, but have not had the time or the money to get the other shots on all of them (parvo, heart worm check etc). Our vet bill is still about 2000 that we are still paying off from the one that died. Already paid about a thousand off that was put on a credit card. Pets can be expensive!

@nerdymama15 I am sorry for your loss. Those vet bills are awful. I also pick and choose what tests and treatments I get my cats. If I had done everything they wanted to do at the first visit and spay it would have been $550. I love my animals and make sure they are well taken care of, but I definitely don't do anything optional at the vet and keep on top of their Rabies vaccines.
