Is this normal? Symptoms thread!!

Hang in there ladies ! I'm 11 weeks today and my MS has slowly began to dissipate. Now a whole other set of symptoms are beginning to take place.
Lots of discharge, mild cramping has returned, extreme hunger, food adversions, sex drive through the roof.... But I must say, the hormones are doing wonders for my skin,hair and nails ;;)

Does anyone else get car sick? I don't normally get sick in the car, but every day when I drive home from work I get so nauseated to the point of gagging. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I was constantly nauseous with my first. But it just seems to hit me in the car with this one. Weird!

tennisbabymama I used to never burp, but lately all of my nausea has been showing up as burps. Thankfully, no vomiting, and it seems to be lessening as the term goes along. Glad to hear it's not just me!

I do, no matter if I'm driving or riding. I used to get motion sick on planes/boats before being pregnant, though. For long car rides back home, my NP said I could take Dramamine - but I couldn't take any other anti-nausea meds for 24 hrs after. Ask your doctor about that if you've got a long trip planned! Otherwise for my commute, I just blast the AC, sip on water, and have a little baggie ready just in case. I hope that helps!

My husband calls it "hangry" like a cross between hungry and angry haha. I'm hungry NOW, people!

I know this is TMI, but...
I am 10w2d. After going to the bathroom this morning, I discovered a large amont of brown mucus/discharge. I've been pretty lucky so far but I'm feeling a little stressed out about it. Is this pretty normal? No cramping or blood. I walked a 5K yesterday and I'm wondering if maybe the extra activity could have caused it?

Edit: I now have blood and cramping. Feeling a little sad but crossing my fingers all will be well and will follow up with the midwife tomorrow.

After a very intensive full day of sports all day yesterday, this morning I had a brief sharp pain when I was peeing where i suspect my right ovary is. Then afterwards when I was lying down, i had the same sharp pain surrounding area of my belly button. It was an odd pain because it was def. not a muscleache, and the second time it wasn't near the uterus.
Has anyone had any pain like this? I just reached 9weeks.

@loveinak - what color is the blood? I know everyone says not to worry unless there's a ton of blood, but my mc had very little blood. If you are worried, there's no shame in calling in and inquiring.
@kimey1 - I've been experiencing sharp pains in my lower abdomen for several weeks now. It's been described to me both as round ligament pain and as my uterus stretching. Just wait til you sneeze and your whole abdomen cramps up...oh the joys

Hi, this is my very first pregnancy and I have so many questions!! My main one right now is: Are sharp pains in your lower abdomen area immediately after sneezing normal? Or even coughing? It's not constant but im still concerned with every little thing... im only 11 weeks right now. All my other symptoms are pretty normal I can't wait to stop being up all night with nausea. Thank you so much!! PS this is my very first post on here.. was pretty nervous and im sorry if it is a silly question

@MariaSara1134 Not a silly question at all. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy. And I get sharp pains with sneezing, coughing, or even just moving too quickly (like getting up off the couch).Have experienced it with all 3. I think it's normal. Also I've had all day and all night nausea this time. 12 weeks tomorrow and just starting to get some relief. Hope you feel better soon too

I feel the same way every time I have a day without sysmtoms. I'm 9w 4d but since week 8 started my symtoms change on a daily basis. Some days it's non stop nausea and others I am ok and can eat. People keep telling me to enjoy the good days but feel like I won't be ok till I hit mid way into 2nd trimester.
Call your doctors office to set an appointment if you are really concern.

I was wandering if anyone was showing way ahead of time im 9 wks 3 days and i literally look 6-7 months prego its insane even my doc says im huge i dont understand it thought it might be twins but nope US confirmed one baby ive been in maternity since 8 weeks just wanted to know if anyone elses belly are too big too early lol

I'm just curious to see if anyone else is having these kinds of pain, I'm sure they are normal but I don't want to ignore them if it can be a sign of a problem. I am getting this continuous sharp pain right above my pelvic bone. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm 12 weeks today and started recently having some sharp pains on the right lower side of my abdomen. I also have experienced spotting off and on, usually brown. Sometimes a thicker discharge.. Two weeks ago we heart a strong heartbeat, and when I was 7 weeks we had an ultrasound and dr said no internal bleeding then.. But I'm still freaking out! Anyone?

@MegJerKlemz I had those sharp pains myself this week (9weeks+5). I seem to have thick discharge when im very active. If the spotting is light and brown you should be ok. I hear spotting can continue all through the 3rd trimester depending on the person. But if youre worried call your doc!

@mumistheword I get that randomly and it almost feels like it's the bone itself that hurts. I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and I've had it since week 8. It might show up either on right side or left and stay there for half a day and then disappear for two weeks. I freaked out the first time I felt it because I hadn't had an ultrasound yet at that point and thought it might have been an ectopic. Nowadays I don't worry about it so much but I'll definitely ask at my next checkup at the end of this month for peace of mind.

First time posting about symptoms because I know SO many things are normal and SO many people are different - did a quick scan of the board but didn't really see anything about sex drive... Mine has decrease so much! I told DH that if he wants to have sex he needs to let me know because it is the last thing on my mind but I don't want him to feel neglected... Also with everything growing and changing down there, a lot of things I used to enjoy hurt now, so there is no winning! One of the weekly bump videos a while back (maybe week 6 or 7) said a decreased sex drive is normal and that "cuddles or gentle caresses" are just as good... but I can't help but WANT to want to have sex... does that make sense?!

Are you stressed out? Stress can do that. So maybe you could do some stuff to try to be less stressed and that could help? I don't have that much of a drive either but I just do it anyway and it can end up being fun even though I didn't want to do it at first.

@faeryllium Thank you for the response, it helps to know that I'm not the only one that is experiencing it. I had it too around 8 weeks and was worried about ectopic too. It really is almost like the bone hurts. I called my OB and since there hasn't been any spotting she said it's nothing to cause concern. She said that I may need to drink more water and that could help with it since dehydration can cause cramping and pain. I felt like I've been drinking like crazy, but apparently I have a very thirsty baby. :-) Are you starting to show yet?

@mumistheword It's good advice to drink more water, I should try it too. I work at a barn/horse riding school and since I'm in the open the whole time with no restrooms readily available I'm always afraid to drink too much.
I usually check my tummy in the morning when most of the bloating is gone and I'm def sporting a little bump. Unfortunately by the time I'm done with dinner I look like I'm six months and it's kind of creepy, lol. So much bloating so little baby. What about you?

@faeryllium Same, when I get up in the morning I can definitely tell that I'm sporting a growing bump. If I eat I look way farther along, and find that I can't eat too much because I feel way too bloated. It's funny though, I go from super sick to wanting to eat everything in sight. My pants are starting to get really tight though, and I have to give into the top button now. I run a business with my husband so I often find myself having to force myself to slow down and drink water too. It's really cool that you get to work with horses, I just love them. I work with less furry critters (geckos and frogs), but they are still cute in my opinion. It's our dream someday to have a conservation project and enough land to have a small farm.

I have literally ZERO sex drive. I think it's just an accumulation of lack of sleep, nausea/vomiting and any other icky first trimester symptoms. Plus I'm pretty tender in the land down undah so sex definitely doesn't even feel good to me right now. I know my boyfriend is sexually frustrated 24/7 and I want to alleviate his "pain" but I'm just really not in the mood. Sometimes when I feel really badly I just starfish for him lol

I've had some BIZARRE dreams since I found out I was pregnant. I read somewhere that it was pretty normal. I'm pregnant in every one of my dreams too. What's even more weird is I have a crazy sex drive in my dreams but in real life I'm like a lump on a log!

@mumistheword I'm having a weird relationship with food. I'm still dealing with nausea and it only seems to stop when I'm eating... so I never want to put my fork down. I definitely have more appetite than ever in my life.
Actually I love both frogs and geckos. The only place I ever get to see geckos around is at the seaside in northern Italy. I wish you all the luck with the conservation project and the farm; that sounds so awesome!

Pelvis pain anyone? I'm 11 weeks with baby #2 and didn't experience this the first time around... On the left side where my pelvis meets my hip/leg it feels bruised and tender. Started day after my pelvic exam with the ob.

This is my second pregnancy and i am 13 weeks. Both of my feet randomly go numb for the past month or so. I dont need to be sitting on them, standing, doesnt matter its just completely random and not always both feet, sometimes its only a few toes on one, and the next time both feet will be completely asleep. This didnt happen with my first. I have been experiencing problems with my sciatic nerve already, and ive assumed its due to this. But has anyone else had this problem?
