Help!!

So Friday I had a doctors appointment and my doctor informed me that my belly is measuring small for 36 weeks but that it's been measuring small for about a month now since my last appointment. It's my first baby and my husband thinks everything's fine but I'm just worried has anyone ever experienced this? I have an ultrasound tomorrow but I just can't seem to stop thinking about it.

    My nephew measured small the entire time and is just fine. He's actually on the tall side for his age. Don't worry until there is a reason (I know that's easier said than done)

    Fundal height is only one gauge for growth tracking, and it sounds like the u/s will give you more clear answers. Try to rest assured that you are in good hands and you can't control it, so letting the doctors support you in doing what's right for baby will be a good thing. I've had friends who measure behind for the majority of their third trimester and then go on to have 8+ lb. babies. Sometimes it's just related to baby's position. Take it easy and good luck with the appointment!

    I measured a week and a week and a half behind at two appointments, then was a week ahead, then behind at a 4th. Babies shift and I was told the further along you are it gets harder for an accurate measurement because baby is dropping. But I was also told as long as you're in a week plus or minus a few days of what you're measuring it's all fine.

    I was measuring small in my fundal height at 37 weeks and my growth scan showed a perfectly sized babe growing! Fundal heights can change dependent on placement and position of baby,etc. I would worry too much over it. Good luck and I hope your little one is growing right on track!

    Thank you! I'm waiting now to see I think everything will be fine but I just couldn't sleep without it bugging me lol

    I had the opposite problem. I was measuring 4 weeks ahead, which freaked me out. But when they did a growth scan on baby girl so measured right on target. I'm sure everything will be fine. Try not to stress too much about it!

    My first pregnancy I measured small the entire time. I have a low pelvis and long torso and am petite. My baby was over 6lbs, and is a giant, literally has been 90-100% for height since birth, don't sweat it! You may get more ultrasounds towards the end but I wouldn't worry too much.
