This is soooooo normal. Unless you are doubled over on the floor in pain and/or bleeding you have nothing to worry about. Cramps that feel like menstrual cramps or even a little more painful than menstrual cramps are just your uterus stretching. Don't stress!
I hqd the same question for my doctor when I went in a couple of days ago. Round Ligament Pain (RLP) might be the type of cramping you're experiencing. Its totally normal, and can be pretty painful, but most doctors don't seem concerned by cramping unless its significantly worse than period cramping or accompanied by bleeding. Its probably just everything stretching out down there.
Yes, I have been getting it a lot over the past week or two. Not fun, but at least normal. Good excuse for back rubs!
To the people who keep saying "use the search feature": It seems like someone says that in EVERY post. I am pretty sure that there aren't any completely new questions to be asked at all on this board, at this point, so what is the point of even having a message board if you can just search every question? There is google for that, too. People come to a community like this to get reassurance, to maybe feel a sense of others in the same situation that care. If we searched every subject, there would be no more reason for any posts at all. It's pretty off-putting to see some people on here get so annoyed with the "noobs" (seriously, we are all due in the same month, so how are some people just so much "cooler" than others already?!) and waste energy posting things like annoyed-face gifs and "use the search" comments. Do they really NEED a slap on the wrist, because you don't like the topic? Wouldn't it be easier to just ignore the post if you are annoyed by it? If no one comments, it will go away anyway...

I don't understand what you special snowflakes don't get?! A guideline of this forum is to search before posting. I personally search everything first... Doing so not only is following the rules of the bump, but it also gives me reassurance that other people are in the same boat.

Special snowflakes? Look, I was guilty of jumping on the board without reading the guidelines. We were just as excited as you when we found out we were pregnant and some of us were not familiar with The Bump when we got started. The snotty responses to repeat questions are really making me dislike this site. You can explain to someone the rules without posting annoyed gifs and calling people condescending names. Obviously people don't realize what they're doing, you don't have to be rude when you explain. I'm getting very tired of this and don't think I'll be stick around much longer. There are plenty of other websites with messages boards where people don't act like they're better than the newbies....
Excuse me?? Because I understand how to read a tou and follow forum guidelines? I agree, if you can't get along with the community here, move along. You should maybe take your own advise.
There is a lovely facebook page that has been started and all of the women on there are fabulous, kind, and supportive. Questions are asked numerous times and I've never once seen the OP get attacked for asking a question rather than searching. Let me know if you'd like to join and I can invite you the group as long as you provide your fb email.
Look, we are all excited. @yogahh was just simply following the rules and directing you to what the "rules" of The Bump are. If you were to look at other BMB's and other boards (TTGP, TTCAL, etc) you would see that these tend to be the norm. I hope you don't move to another site because this one is really great. I've heard that it takes awhile for the BMB to get going since we are all new to each other. Regardless, good luck on your journey.
Simply stating the rules?? Calling her a "special snowflake" thinking she is so much better than everyone else because she has been here longer?? Pathetic.

I don't think I am better Than anyone else. Those that create that special threads are the ones that think they are better. Why can't they post on the threads already started for cramping or symptoms? IMO that's rude. We have established threads already dedicated to these topics. It's fine though, I guess every board needs a white knight that that's you this weekend.
They're not trying to be rude, they just don't realize there are threads for this already. You can politely explain this to people without calling them special snowflakes. IMO *that's* rude. They're not doing it cause they think they're more important and don't have to follow the rules. Obviously they're new, have questions or are panicking, and don't realize that there might be 20 threads already dedicated to their questions.
And btw you need to give support to get support. Learn to build relationships on this board. To say I am nasty when I've supported so many not only on here but also on the ttgp community? If you have such a problem With my replies then block me. No harm done.

Building relationships takes time and you have to be active. You become an active part of the community by posting and creating threads. So they double posted, so what. They're trying. You can still be patient with them. I don't give you credit for supporting so many people when you're rude to newbies who are trying and made a mistake.

The issue is someone told her to search and she came back telling people to ignore the posts if they don't want to read them. People did give her advise. I don't know how long you have been around but based on 5 "love tits" gonna guess not long. Once you see the same posts day in and day out, I think you will get it. Come back in a week and let us know if you find it annoying yet. There is a three day waiting period to post on this forum. During that time people "should be " accumulating themselves to the culture, reading posts and learning the ins and outs.

The issue is that the OP didn't know any better and the first response was an eye roll gif. And you're being condescending again. 5 love its doesn't speak for how long I've been here. I've been here for months, first on the TTC boards. I lurked for a long time because I didn't have anything to contribute at the time because I wasn't actively trying. I *do* understand your frustration.
No being condescending. Just saying if you haven't been around a while I can see how it's easy to say "just ignore the threads". Anyways I'm done here. Off to watch some pirate baseball.

I need you to explain pirate baseball to me. It sounds magical.
@mrscase14- the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hopefully World Series champs! But now I'm picturing actual pirates and it's cracking me up! Arrrggghhhhhh. If you don't search first, we're gonna make you walk the plank
LMAO!! Oh man, that's too funny. I don't follow sports at all, except a little hockey, so I was sincerely picturing drunk pirates playing baseball. Fantastic.

Dang girl, I was in your corner until you mentioned baseball... go Cubbies.

Lol. We cheer for both in my household. I'm a Pittsburgh girl, DH is from Chicago North (no White Socks in this house...ever).

Most of the "search police" as we've been called are trying to help newcomers without sacrificing the community that has already been forming here. As @yogahh pointed out, we're following the TOU that everyone who uses this forum should be following. Redirecting someone to another thread is not meant to shut people up, but is meant to encourage the conversation to continue where one has already been started. Repeat threads, especially excessive repeats, drive users away because the existing users end up feeling like an answering service.

Could be an interesting playoff season in your household! I married a St. Louis Cardinals fan, and he always gloats!
I clicked on this because it had so many replies. I was looking forward to reading an actual discussion about the topic; rather than the other threads with that in the title, that only have a small handful - if any- replies. I am going through the same thing although I have cramping and spotting as well. I remember my first pregnancy having significant cramps until at least 8 weeks. I called my doctor about it and they were reassuring.
