A coworker told some of the teachers today that she's expecting. Yay for her. Although exact quote, "we didn't want anymore. I tried to ignore it as long as possible. (Talking about being pregnant).
Meanwhile I have every PMS symptom there is, and I'm pretty sure AF will be here any time. Somebody talk me down from this bag of cookies in my lap.
Re: Another bump at work
I'm not good at talking people down from eating cookies. I would eat them all.

I hope you ate the cookies. I might eat some cookies too, just for the cause and all...

ETA asterisks because I can't remember bump rules about profanity and don't want to get kicked out. But seriously.
I will add that I went to the zoo with some moms I met at a babywearing group--they were maybe 22 and 29. I mentioned I was 40 and would love to have one more, but would probably not try for another after that due to age. The one gal was shocked and said "why not?!" And told me a story about her 42 year old friend who just had a kiddo. I appreciated her age-doesn't-matter attitude. It was a nice counter to all the "you'd better hurry it on up" narratives I feel I hear elsewhere, you know?
I've heard several times even AFTER 3 consecutive losses "Are you sure you even want another kid?"
This will be my fiancés first child, it's so rude to have anything to say about something so personal.
I'm sorry.
@Sporty1216 I love that! That's how it should be!
