Ok so I've posted a couple times over the past few days about IVF because I did my egg transfer earlier this week. However. EVERYTHING I read is positive results from a 5 day transfer. Has anyone had a positive three day transfer with two embryos using ICSI? I also did assisted hatching. I'm 29 and no male issues, I'm simply just unexplained

. Please let me know whether 3 day worked for you or not and how many babies if so

.

@jnissa thank you for replying!! Such a roller coaster and yesterday was just a negative day for me. Today I'm on the fence it seems like.
The transfer day is decided based on quality of eggs AND quantity of eggs. Both are factored into the decision.
If they feel that several embryos will make it to a 5 day, they will wait and do a 5. However, if you don't have a large number of embryos being fertilized in the first place, they usually won't risk waiting 2 more days to transfer because they could lose though embryos during that time.
SO don't stress over a 3 day or a 5 day because which ever they chose, is the one that is best fit to give your embryos the best chance of attaching and being successful!
It's all situational, so I'm sure your doctor chose to do a three day because he/she knew they were ready to be transferred.
Your age helps you too! I'm also 29 and they told me that since I'm on the younger side, it increases my odds slightly.
Hope that helps you! Trust the process and just keep thinking baby!!! Positive thoughts!
