@SweetTooth126 it was! Everything was homemade except for the pizza we ordered for the kiddos. Beautiful cake btw! My cousins made my cake, such a sweet gesture because I know it was hard work.

My shower was nautical/whale themed. That is the theme of the nursery also. My sister and friend did an amazing job coordinating the decor. It was beautiful.

I had a surprise baby shower last saturday. It was a vintage theme made by my 2 sisters and my parents. Diaper cake, lollipop Jellos and actual cake were all done by my super creative mom.

I grew up in that area, and loooooove that restaurant! Their food is amazing, and the space is beautiful! I am super jealous

We did a children's book theme in our little boy's room so my mother did a baby shower to match. It was held at our apartment, complete with matching menu. We had deviled eggs for Green Eggs and Ham, pasta salad for Strega Nona, chicken skewers for Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Swedish meatballs for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and amazing cupcakes for The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Our favors were book cover sugar cookies and bookmarks. It was such a great time!

I don't have many pics, but my mom/MIL did a book theme too. Table deco was based on a different book at each table, cookie favors of where the wild things are and chocolate chip, cake was a book, a game was book quotes, and many guests brought books for our baby library. They also make baskets to raffle off to guests and they were based on a theme around a book. I got the book for my baby, but guests got the basket. They were adorable. So thankful for their thoughtfulness and our family/friends who attended!

I wish I would have had a fun theme!! My mom and friends just kinda put some super cute decorations up and fed me lots of food!! I loved it!! my MIL said she's throwing a party in January for him.. Just because.. No gifts involved nothing she just wants to throw a party.. As long as there's food I'll be there!!!
