1st ultrasound yet?

I had my dating ultrasound 2day. I was told they couldn't see my baby well. That she's just too tiny. And I should come for another ultrasound in 10 days. Has anyone done ultrasound yet?

    I also had 1st ultrasound today and we can only see a gestational sac. I think I am around 7 weeks so they took my blood for hcg level and again on Monday to see if it doubles. I really hope that this pregnancy will have some progress!

    Okay. From my calculation I am also around 7weeks. But they kept asking me if I am sure of the date of my last period. I just hope all will be fine . Will go for the Hcg on Tuesday

    Based on my LMP I was supposed to be 7.5 weeks, but due to late ovulation, I measured 6 weeks. If you don't know your exact ovulation date then this could be why you are measuring smaller. Happy thoughts!

    I'm 6 weeks 3 days and went in for my (third) ultrasound yesterday! I thought I was 2-3 weeks further along because of my LMP but I've always had irregular periods so I ovulated later, apparently. The first ultrasound, they saw nothing. The second, we saw a sac but couldn't really see the baby but we did see the heartbeat! And this week we saw the gestational sac, yolk sac, baby and heart beat!

    Hi everyone! I believe I am at 4w4d based on my LMP. I have already had the blood tests done for the hcg and progesterone (on a progesterone suppository now). I'll be going in next Wednesday for my first ultrasound. I'm super nervous this time since my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage a little after 7 weeks. I'm not feeling intense symptoms which also has me a bit worried. Does anyone know what I could expect to see at 5 1/2 weeks?

    @conrkm38 When I scan early 1st trimesters I normally just see a gestational sac and uterus decidual reaction. Sometimes there will be a yolk sac visible too. If it's towards the end of the 5th week the "diamond ring sign" may be seen. Which is a tiny fetal pole attached to the yolk sac.

    Thanks for the response! So I can be hopeful to see some evidence of success this time? I'm feeling over anxious and worried tonight.

    Please try not to be anxious, easier said than done I know! You should at least see a gestational sac at 5 1/2 weeks. Sometimes LMP's calculations are off a bit from actual ovulation so don't get discouraged if that's all they see.
    I also don't have very strong symptoms right now. I didn't with my DD either this early. Then just when I thought I was in the clear bam they hit me like a freight train lol.

    I had an ultrasound at just shy of 6 weeks (due to concerns of a fallopian pregnancy) and was also told they couldn't really see anything so came back a week later. At the second ultrasound, everything was exactly as it ought to be and we saw the heart beat! :) so I wouldn't stress... If there's one thing I have learned is that we are all different! Don't stress. Keep looking after yourself & Baby and I'm sure next week everything will be fine.
