Ha, same! I have to make sure I pee RIGHT before I leave work then have to go when I get home as well. My commute is only like 30 min. I didn't go right before I left one day and almost had to stop on my way home. I have a 3-hour drive this weekend to visit some friends and I imagine it will take me quite a bit longer than expected since I'll have to stop a few times. Annoying.
  • @wisco29 I had to have a full bladder for my A/S on Tuesday and couldn't pee for an hour beforehand.  I was as concerned about that as I was about the actual A/S.  Having a full bladder and then having a tech press firmly down on it for an hour is dangerous territory for me.  I barely made it through.

    Hi there,

We are working hard to get this issue fixed right away. We understand that this is frustrating and affecting many users. It is a top priority for us to resolve this. We appreciate your patience as we work to fix it and will update you as soon as it's resolved!

    Thank you.
  • Wtf to work cleaning out the sewer system. It reeks today :(
Also wtf to road crews just starting road construction. Why do they wait until the last minute?!

Seriously! I peed before I saw the nurse for a heart beat check yesterday, literally 5 min before and then when she was pressing I was worried about peeing haha, maybe it's time to put extra clothes in the car. I had extra pants and underwear in the car when I was pregnant with dd because I was so sure my water was going to break. This time I'm sure I'm going to pee my pants!
  • @wisco29 yeah apparently having a full bladder helps them measure your cervix better and see the organs more clearly, or that's what the tech told me.  She eventually let me pee.  At my last appointment when I scheduled the A/S, they  sent me home with directions on what I could drink, how much,, when I had to drink it by, and in all it caps it said something about being sent home and having to reschedule if you didn't follow the directions, which terrified me slightly more more than having to go with a full bladder, so I did it.

I wonder if this is based on the type of machine they have on if you have to have a full bladder or not. I just scheduled my a/s and they told me I didn't have to have a full bladder. It was only when you were under 14 weeks.

  • Wtf to everyone who told me how great maternity pants are. I freakin' hate them. The demi panels are comfortable but give me a muffin top, and the full panels look ok but make me feel like I'm wearing a girdle. Disappointed they're not more comfortable...womp womp.
  • @Tsam12 That is terrible.  I'm glad you have such a positive outlook on the situation and are just happy to have a healthy baby regardless of sex, though.  Your baby is lucky to have you, even if your family is being cruel.  Congrats on your healthy baby boy!

  • I work for patient services. Every person I talk to will not answer the direct question I ask them. Why do people feel they need to tell me a whole story to have an issue fixed? WTF people, just answer the muffing question!

WTF cashier at Target. There was a blind lady in front of me with her service dog. The cashier said "I can help you on 3", and the lady said, "are you talking to me? I need some help, I don't know where 3 is". The cashier was in her own world and ignored her until she rudely said again, "next guest on 3!". The person in front of me helped walk her down, then she started asking the cashier if she could have some help getting black socks, because she accidentally bought blue last time. The cashier had her back turned messing with putting something away and didn't even listen/hear her, just turned towards her and said "are you buying something?". Luckily the other customer stepped in to talk to the cashier, but WTF girl.. Pay attention. You made yourself look like a super b* towards that poor woman. I'm contemplating sending an email to their management.

I would definitely send an email or make a complaint in this situation. Kind of makes my skin crawl just reading about how rude the cashier was. I'm glad to hear a customer stepped up and helped her out but it shouldn't have gone that far if the cashier would have paid attention or had done her job correctly.
  • I keep getting these little jabs in my bladder and I think baby has found it and likes to kick there. Awesome!

The worst is when I'm running, and have to pee the whole time. I go before, and have to refrain from going every mile or so. At least I'm practicing tons of kegels!

I went on a walk on my lunch break and peed right before I left, but of course I feel like I have to pee the whole time. I know I don't, but when I'm walking around I often feel like I do anyway.  When I'm sitting or standing still I'm usually fine.  Every time I go in for a checkup I think they'll tell me I have another UTI, but that's never the case.  Glad I'm not the only one with that sensation!

  • WTF to my power being out for hours and it's a beautiful sunny day so I don't get it. My phone's about to die, too. :( Guess I'll have to charge it in my car.

I'd try some different ones/sizes on. I LOVE a couple pairs I've gotten that were from Old Navy (the low panel jeans) and a brand called Duo Maternity (low panel corduroy). I have a couple full panel ones, but for those I NEED the lighter, more stretchy fabric. My mom got me a pair from Target that I want to love, but they're skinny jeans and I have fat ankles and long legs so at the bottom they are too short and too tight :( I've definitely tried on several pairs that were super uncomfortable though so I know what you mean!

They just told me to have a full bladder... None of that crazy stuff. What do I need to drink and by when??????

My last PG I drank the full 32 ounces and was in so much pain from too full of a blader while waiting that I had to try to pee out just a little, to still have a full bladder but not be terribly uncomfortable. Thinking I'll try 24 oz this time instead;)

  • I'm posting my WTF on thursday because I had such a stressful day yesterday.  WTF to my two bosses! They are brother & sister attorneys and they both blame me for all of their problems and constantly fight with each other  My one boss blamed something on both me and the other one, and the other one threw me under the bus.  Well guess what, lady!  Two can play at that game!  Then we had a meeting where the main boss went through line by line on a document and said all the changes he wanted main, and his sister just repeated it, like she was adding something.  I was like, "I got it the first time!"

I spent two hours looking for jobs in the middle of the night, but who am I kidding, it's going to be fruitless until after baby is born.

They told me to drink at least 28 ounces of water, tea, coffee, or juice one hour before your appointment.  I drank nothing more and nothing less and it was plenty.
