What number LO are you TTC? In a perfect world, how many kids would you like? Do you and SO agree on your number?
We are TTC #3. We have two girls now and DH says if #3 is a girl, he's out but I'm hoping for four kids.

Do you and SO agree on your number? He wants even more... We will be reevaluating after each child though.
2, maybe 3. Depends if #2 is as complicated a pregnancy/birth as the first. I don't know if I can willingly put myself and my family through that a third time.
In a perfect world, my 3 step children would be bio babies and we would still have just 1 more. FI has been on board all along. He is just as anxious as me, and just as disappointed with each BFN.
That all being said, if we have 3 boys (DH was one of 3 boys, his dad was one of one of 2 boys, grandfather was one of 4 boys so the Y swimmers appear to be quite healthy with the men in his family) I might call it quits, I don't think I could handle it if we ended up with a 4th. Too much testosterone in the house, so we'll see...

Do you and SO agree on your number? Yes it started as only wanting 1 for a small intimate family but then said if we can get lucky and have them close together we'd want the second.
In a perfect world, how many kids would you like? Where I have all the money and a big house and yard I'd love 7 or maybe more. I feel like I know when I'm done.
Do you and SO agree on your number? Right now we're saying 5. We reevaluate after each baby is one. Making sure that finances allow for another baby, and that we're ready for the next one within the next 9 months in case things happen quickly.
Since in a perfect world my kids will sleep through the night and never be sick and pregnancy will be easy, my kids will be like 15 months apart.

Once my older son could crawl life got easier because he would wear himself out and sleep.
Ideally, I'd like a big family, at least 5-6. We disagree on this; it was very hard to convince my husband to try for a second. I *might* be able to convince him to try once more after. But I doubt it.
Ideally I would love 4! I'm one of two but I've always lived very close to big extended family (my cousin were like my siblings since we all went to the same schools and spent after school time together) so I would love to create a big family like that.
DH says I'm nuts. He comes from the opposite, tiny extended family. No cousins or anything. Just one brother he's not close to at all. He says two only. His worry is logistics of caring individually for 4 and financial worries. I agree that in today's world finances dictate a lot of how we live our lives and decisions with make. I think we will probably end up with 2.
