Baby's eyes

I don't want to offend or annoy anyone with this question because I remember getting hell here for asking about Sara's eye color when she was a newborn. I had no idea at the time that babies eyes change from blue or grey to another color. I'm hispanic and the majority of our family is brown eyed and we were never born with light eyes that changed to darker colors. We do have relatives with blue, grey and green eyes but they were born that way. Now I know it happens up to a year or more sometimes. The majority settle at around 6-9 months. 

Sara is almost 6 months old and her eyes are grayish green with some light brown around the pupil (some ppl think they look grayish blue). I've read the majority of babies' eyes turn dark brown by now. Has anyone had LO eyes change from the blue or gray eyes to dark brown yet?

    Yes my DS' changed from light blue all the way to dark brown a few weeks ago. His twin DD has light blue eyes that haven't changed yet but we expect they likely will since no one in our families has blue eyes.
