Re: TWW Monday

  • **chart stalk ***

    month/cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 51/6

Timing: could possibly have been better

Testing Plans: Was going to test Friday, but now...

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Ok so I know I'm super special snowflake symptom spotting right now but my stomach dropped this morning when I took my temp...officially in a bummed out mood unless this temp drop is an implantation dip (which in the back of my mind I keep saying to re-assure myself). C'mon, seriously, like WTF uterus and ovaries...you make me wait 49 days to ovulate and possibly give me a 6 day LP?!! The only pms sign I've had was bloating...FML  *end rant feel free to slap me back into sanity when I check in at break time*

**chart stalk Q: has anyone had their temp dip below CL and have it come back up? (not in terms of PG, but for a longer LP)

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I could live in either and have done so before. Each one has their pros and cons but I honestly would like to move to a bigger city someday, DH has only ever lived in a small town so big cities kinda intimidate him

    Testing Plans: maybe Thursday X_X

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: so I guess the best way to start the week is to symptom spot... We slept with the window open so I am not sure if it's related but a little early dip. Other than not nothing. Pretty boring I know. And I have so many wondfos that I just want to start using them Thursday. Plus it's my telework day as well so I can either try and hold the surprise in and get hubby and little gift or I can be a cry baby and home by myself.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I prefer a big city. My high was in a small town and my husband lived in a small town, with other surrounding towns near, but there is just so much more things to do in a big city.

  • @rrauws don't worry about the dip today - your temp could (and hopefully will) go back up tomorrow. Search FF for charts like yours and you'll see plenty with a dip below the CL that go back up after.

    Month/cycle: 16 (but only 4/4 temping)

    CD/DPO: 20/5

    Timing: -3, -2, 0

    Testing Plans: 12 dpo

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: trying not to pay attention this time. Sick of disappointment!

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?
I grew up in a small town, but I love the city now. Minneapolis/St Paul is very different than other cities though - lots of great benefits of a city but soooo much green space and lakes throughout the metro area! The best of both worlds.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: FF moved my cross hairs this morning back a day....boo :-(

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I love visiting friends for the weekend in a big city, but I don't think I could live there for more than a year. I enjoy having some land and some quiet.

Testing Plans: I love to torture myself! BFN today.  Every day just because I have Wondfos and I can test.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Ever have a cycle where you just know you are out? Our timing was better this cycle than last, but I just feel so very out of timing with this month in general. Least I will have the cruise to celebrate when I get a AF this weekend.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? It use to be big town, but now its 100% small town USA!

    Testing plans: none

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: attaching my chart, but not really looking for anything.

GTKY : Small town all the way! Grew up in the burbs, moved around a lot in my 20s, moved to a farm 60 miles from anywhere (we rented the house, someone else farmed the land) and moved Vegas because I couldn't find a teaching job in NY. We want more than anything to move back to a small town and farm.
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 58/3

Timing: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0 -- Super glad we got out of our "not in the mood" rut last week!!!

Testing Plans: 10 DPO at the soonest.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm so excited that I finally got crosshairs on FF! I'm hoping I really did O on that day because our timing was fantastic if I did! I'm so glad I charted this morning, because at least the rest of my day and our court appearance for my DS won't be stuck in my head so much.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm so damn sick. Sinus infection? I dunno. My temps are high, but i'm afraid it's from being sick. Damnit.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Small town! I adore visiting the city, but wanna relax on my porch overlooking the countryside.

    CD/DPO 18/6

    Timing: -3, -2, +1

Testing Plans: Wellllllllll, I just got a ginormous package of Wondfos in the mail yesterday, so... And Friday my birthday and DPO10, so... But on the other hand I'm not feeling confident in this cycle (or any cycle for that matter) so I may just save myself the disappointment and enjoy my birthday weekend.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: 38th birthday is looming and I'm feeling suddenly old and overwhelmed by the TTC process.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Well I was born and raised in a tiny town in a very rural area, but I have lived in big cities since I was 18 and I've loved it. The older I get, however, the more I want to go back to the countryside. I guess I'd be happy in either place. The only thing I don't want is to live in some mid-sized boring suburb, though I can appreciate its advantages.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Back to work today. Happy Monday.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I like living in a small town with easy access to the city or other things to do. That way you have something to do for every mood that you're in.

  • New here, was around when I was TTC DS back in 2012. TTC #2 now. Hi!

    Month/cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 42/12

    Timing: -4, -1, O

Testing plans: BFN yesterday, not testing again until at least Wednesday, maybe Friday...

Rants/raves: I've had four PP cycles and they were 27, 27, 26 and 24 days long. First month back charting and I'm on CD 42. Sheesh. At least I finally got CH. (And if I hadn't charted I'd be losing my mind).

GTKY: City!!! I can't believe I'm in such a solid minority on this one.
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 26/9

    Timing: -2, -1, 0 (x2), +1

Testing Plans: 9dpo- BFN, testing everyday until BFP or AF with Wondfo's

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: So annoyed with the vivid BFP dreams!! I know it's still early but trying not to get my hopes up too much "/

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? We live in the suburbs about 20 minutes from a big city and I really like it. Close enough to visit often but we also have a really nice backyard against woods.
  • *********************************Chart Stalk******************************************

    month/cycle:  2/2

    CD/DPO:  24/3?

    Timing:  0

Testing Plans:  Probably just wait for AF

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  I've been sick today and yesterday.  I think that's why my temps have been up.  I've had no fertile CM in a while.  What do you ladies think about DPO or not?

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?  I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere and could not leave fast enough! However now I live in a small town, just outside the city and it's not bad.  I still would rather move back into the city.  I need to be close to something to do.

  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 27/13

    Timing: -2 to +2

Testing Plans: Been testing every day since 9DPO, and will do so until + or AF because I can :)

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Temp is still at its peak, my period is officially due or 1 day late today (conservatively granting -+1 O day), no AF, but a BFN today. W. T. F. I'm over here like :!!

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Both definitely have advantages, and I've done both. I prefer to live in a smaller town near a big city--best of both worlds!
  • month/cycle 2/2

    CD/DPO 27/10

    Timing: -4, -2, -1

    Testing Plans: none

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: temp took a nose dive this morning, so I'm out this month and just waiting for AF. If there's a positive to this, it's that I can enjoy whatever foods and drinks I want next month when we are in New Orleans

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I'd say big city but content now that we moved out of one...but I don't think I'd enjoy living in a small town either

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?

I kind of have the best of both worlds. We live in the 1st suburb out of the city, so we have the backyard and quiet of the suburbs... The city is a
12 minute drive so if I want the city, it is right around he corner.

    Testing Plans: 10 DPO

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I've got nothing! No phantom symptoms, no complaints. I'm the most boring newb today.

GTKY: Can I say smaller big cities? I like being around the action of a city (concerts, restaurants, festivals, food trucks etc) but not living right in the middle of tons of buildings and lots of people.

  • month/cycle 4

    CD/DPO 26/9

    Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1

Testing Plans: 11 or 12 DPO I can't decide! Idk if I wanna test on my anniversary so I can surprise my hubby when we go on our trip or wait till the next morning while we are away? Hell or even the day after which is when we are going to the Big E! I just don't wanna be disappointed. I figure as longer as I don't start my pre period "spotting" (which last month started at 9 DPO) I'll test sooner but if I get any spotting at all I'll count myself out until AF is late.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: had our big anniversary/housewarming party yesterday! Went really well! Now back to work ugh!

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Small town for sure, I don't like how cities smell.
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2 temping (12/12 overall)

    CD/DPO: 24/7

    Timing: only -1 this month

Testing Plans: meh, I'll wait until Friday or Saturday (11 or 12 DPO)

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm wondering if my BBT is working properly. My temps have all been kinda close together lately. Maybe I'll see if we can get Mabis in Canada.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I grew up in a big city, then moved to an even bigger city, and have been downsizing every few years since I left there 10 years ago. I now live in smallest place I've ever lived and have never been happier. I'd call this place a 'big town'. LOL.

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 38/11

    Timing: -2, 0

Testing Plans: been doing really good so far.  I though I would've broke down by now, but trying to hold out until wednesday or thursday since I really think AF will arrive before then.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: AF is now five days "late", except late is a little ambiguous considering I haven't technically had a period since our early M/C five weeks ago.  I had a quick moment of spotting yesterday before bed (just the once) and expected to wake up to a low temp and AF.  Except I woke up to a temp thats a little higher than my post O spike, and no AF.  WTF is going on.  Plus, every day that AF is late is a day closer to our Europe trip that AF will be slated to arrive next cycle.  If AF is going to come anyway, couldn't she at least do me the courtesy of showing up on time????

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?  I am a small town gal.  I was in a small city for university and found it to be so lonely.  There were so many people around, but we only had a few close friends, no one cared about anyone else it seemed like.  In our small town we had a big group of really close friends (two of whom are our neigbours) and everyone cares about one another.  It is wonderful.  And we always have something to do and someone to hang out with.

  • @rrauws I did this month.  Dropped about .2 below and then back up .  So it happens.

    month/cycle: 5/4

    CD/DPO: 23/8

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  I'm not really happy.  I don't think I'll know more for a few days and if my chart is showing a previous pattern, I will definitely be throwing a pity party.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?  How about....mid size.  I'm going to go the special snowflake route here.

Testing Plans: probably not for another two weeks.

Rant/Rave: I'm not charting yet, so these numbers are based on a tracker app and CM. I probably won't actually start charting until 3 months of trying. I have been slightly cramping for two days with light bleeding. It's still a little early for implantation bleeding. I did have it with my son, but every pregnancy is different so I'm just telling myself it's just random spotting.

GTKY: I live in rural Georgia so small town for sure. I hate traffic so that's a big deterrent from big city living.
  • ***lurker***
@BreeToll how long is usually your LP? Because if you have a LP of 12+ your AF isn't technically late. I had a CP last month and my doctor told me my cycle will possibly be longer. When I told her I'm temping, she said to keep an eye on the LP and not really look at how long the whole cycle is.

    CD/DPO: 24/4

Timing: bad O+1 DH was traveling

Testing Plans: Saturday, we are having DS1's 3rd birthday party that night and there will be drinking. Then not for another week.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: had to change thermometers mid cycle so eh we shall see what happens.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I grew up in a small town with access to a lot of other cities (Hampton Roads VA) and I loved it. I live in south Charlotte now and it has a small feel but the city is close. I guess suburbs of a city is my ideal. Although I lived outside Atlanta for a while and traffic sucked so not too large of a city. One day I'd love to live in the heart of a large city somewhere, but that'll have to be after the kids are grown and out of the house.

***Question: my OPKs are still positive, anyone have this after O? I'm either 4DPO or 7, I never got a peak reading on the clear blue monitor.

Testing Plans: My original plan was today which is our 2 year anniversary and would be cycle day 29/DPO 12 putting me 1 day late. But I decided to test yesterday knowing we were going to cookout and wanted to know if I could drink. And I tested a BFN :(

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Sad about the BFN but confused AF still is not here. I had some cramping last night and assumed she was on her way but then I think it was just a flair up of my UC (likely with the drinking I did yesterday). Wondering if maybe I tested too early, but then I had a temp drop this morning (still above the CL) so pretty confident I am out this cycle, but can't help but hold on to some hope....

Rave - Today is our 2 year wedding Anniversary! <3

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I live in a small town that is right next to a (small) city. It gives me all the amenities I needs within a few minutes but a nice small town to come home to every day. It is perfect!

  • BreeToll so I have two theories. A) you either do not have enough of the HGC, or whatever the hormone, is to turn a test YET or your LP is just longer than what you had before the MC.

  • @jolydan I think they were around 11 days or so (just an estimation based on when my EWCM showed up, which was always exactly 14 days before AF).  But this is my first month temping (which I am not impressed with myself about now... would've been helpful to compare) so there is truly no way to know for sure.

That is good to know about the LP though!

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Maybe this is a UO, but I don't understand why people are obsessed with digital tests. A line is a line. If it's worth the extra money to you to see the word, then have at it, I guess.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Big city. No question. Living in bumble (which I did for the better part of two years when DH was in grad school) sucks balls. Having to drive 30 miles just to get to decent stores is not something that I'm at all interested in doing ever again.

Testing Plans: been testing and all bfn. Had a squinter on 9 dpo but all negative since.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I feel like I'm out this month. Bummed but I will be in Vegas for my 30th soon and now I feel like I can enjoy a few drinks.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? I like living in the city.

  • @WinniethePoohsPants I don't find that paranoid at all. POAS so you can relax and have all the alcohol without worrying.

    CD/DPO 22/9

    Timing: 0

Testing Plans: Saturday!!!  I'm so excited.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  I am so excited that the work week has began, lol.  Now I just have to make it through five days of work and then I get to test.  It is SO much easier to distract myself when I'm working.

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town?  RIght now, I live in a fairly large suburb.  It's super crowded.  Next month, I am moving to a smaller town that is much more kid/family friendly.  It'll be nice to be out of the crowds.  So I am going to say that I prefer living in a small town.
  • @Kaydeeaye  - I'm Canadian too! You can order the Mabis on Amazon.ca but it's about $11 or $12. Ticked me off because I bought the Life brand one for $20! Argh!

    month/cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, 0, then I got tired.

Testing Plans: Thursday will be 10DPO. I'm trying to hold out until at least Saturday, but let's be real.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: How am I only 7DPO?! Usually I can handle the TWW, but this month I can't deal. I just want to know right now!!!

GTKY: Do you prefer living in a big city or a small town? Definitely big-ish city. My city has about 1 million ppl, but it is still small in some ways. I like having lots of things to do and places to go, but I still live in a neighbourhood that's quiet. I have lived in small cities when I went away to school (75,000 or 125,000) and liked it too, but had to live "downtown"!
