    I signed up to order it, and didn't when I saw the shipping price. Later that day, they offered me reduced shipping.

    I did pay for shipping. Once you order you get a code to offer to other people. If you get 5 people to order with the code you get the shipping reimbursed. It's the code that keeps on giving.

    Those things are such a rip off. It's not "free". The cost to ship a piece of fabric is like 3-4$ the 15 they charge you covers the shipping, cost to make and a profit. The quality is not that great and the material is often scratchy. I ordered things with my first not knowing and everything fell apart pretty quickly and felt very cheap.
    If they can get 5 people to order then they've made a profit and can afford to wave the "shipping fee" for one person.
