Low blood pressure/Low blood sugar

I'm 7 weeks and every day it is a struggle to not get the shakes or feel lightheaded/nauseous! Especially right before a meal. Also, I drink a ton of water but always thirsty. Not diabetic but have had episodes of hypoglycemia in the past. Help! Any suggestions?

Re: Low blood pressure/Low blood sugar

  • My blood sugar crashes when I eat high-carb meals. It's really important to try and balance carbs, protein, and fat. I also have low blood pressure and have absolutely been struggling with that - I lose my vision regularly when I stand up. Sucks. Just have to take things really slow :\ but you should also talk to your doctor.

  • I have struggled with low blood pressure since forever...to the point where I would faint when I stood up. Doctor prescribed salty foods. The salt helps lift your blood pressure...worked for me, might help with the lightheadedness.
