hi ladies!

I'm 4dpo (I know this is accurate because I had middlesmertz pains on wed.) tues & wed we ttc, and sometime in the middle of the night last night I had a weird vibrating feeling on the same side I ovulated from. Oddly I started to dream about this and when I woke up it was just ending. it was really weird and I was just wondering if anyone experienced this with implantation? I know you can get cramps but this didn't necessarily hurt.

thanks!

....and it's to early for this. Unless you are temping you do not know when you O the pain that you felt could have been from anything including gas. Good luck on your TTC journey.

  • 4dpo is most likely too early for implantation. It could be anything, probably just a little gas.

  • My ovaries can hurt for weeks at a time. That doesn't mean they're hyper fertile and throwing out eggs left and right. Ovary pain does not necessarily equal ovulation. The only way to confirm ovulation is to temp/chart. The newbie thread on the top of this board has a lot of helpful info on how to get started with that.

  • Implantation typically happens 7-10 DPO. You also don't know when you ovulated for certain without temping.most likely it was gas or some sort of muscle cramp/spasm.
  • my initial thought was gas but it was localized to the spot near my ovary? I read that it can take 3 days for it to travel and then implant so I was really hoping this was it!

Even that would be three days to travel/implant after it leaves the Fallopian tube. the egg typically stays in the Fallopian tube for 3-4 days.
  • I saw the information on that! I'll look it over again @AshVA
  • I appreciate all the insite ladies :)
  • well although it could be unrelated, hopefully this month is the month!
  • ....I sincerely hope you are trolling...
  • What have you guys found to be the best pregnancy test out there?
  • LOL.  No...that wasn't it.  I've heard of women having this fuzzy vibrating feeling from pregnancy which is why I posted this to see if anyone else had something similar happen?

No. There are no fuzzy vibrations from getting knocked up. It's biologically impossible to feel your egg traveling down a tube or implanting. If anyone claims they did they are either delusional or lying.....
Once a baby gets large enough you can feel a little flutter, but that's in the second trimester.

4DPO is WAY too early to test.

I prefer the cheap tests. I don't like to spend a lot of money on things I pee on.
  • The Dollar Store pregnancy tests are very accurate, and only a dollar, so I recommend those.

But wait until at least 12dpo (though 14dpo or 15dpo would be better). Testing too early and repeatedly is very bad for your general mental health.

So is symptom spotting.  Vibration is a weird symptom to suspect, and people will tease you for it, but it's really because symptom spotting will make you nuts.  Do whatever you can to avoid it.  Just tell yourself that it's probably gas, and wait out the full TWW.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

  • Can someone please tell me what fuzzy vibrations are and why I am not feeling them? Does only one leg have vibrate for it to be fuzzy? And since both are vibrating that makes it fuzzy?! :-/

  • OP, I believe I read somewhere that the egg is the size of a period at the end of a sentence (and not one you draw yourself). It would be impossible to feel something that small "vibrate." It was probably just gas. I get feelings like that and it's just gas. Also, O pain can happen either before, during, or after O- if you're in the minority that experiences O pain. So it's possible you Od before (or after) Wednesday and can't confirm that without temping.

  • Implantation vibration?
    That's a cause for celebration!

    She had ovulation vibration
    Her pre-test elation will grow
Her ova will race on until implantation
Or until she gets aunt flow...

OK done being a dork now.

  • What the hell is implantation vibration?

The only vibrations I feel are when my stomach growls.

I just couldnt resist the funky bunch...

anyway.. it could be something, it could be nothing. As I've found out, your mind messes with you when TTC. the only way to know is wait about a week and test. Test until AF comes (your period). It's the only way to know! Happy waiting!
