Wishful delivery dates

Soo I'm sure I'm not the only one but I can't seem to help myself from wanting little one to come on certain dates. I thought she was gonna show up last week with how dilated I was/effaced...but now I blame her being like her daddy lol...she's gonna procrastinate until the last minute lol Due Oct 1st...but I'm hoping she comes on the 23rd...only because I was born on a 23rd...so was my mom...also the 23rd this year is the start of Autumn....which happens to be her middle name....

The only other date I'm half thinking she may come is Oct 28th....the next full moon....yes yes old wives tale but how neat it would be...and I think it's also goodluck/means good health...

Anyone else have dates they wish there little one would come? Lol I just think it's fun...it'll be a special day regardless

I think it's neat that you have the 23rd date in common with your mom, and potentially your LO could have that, too. Growing up, I shared my birthday with my parents' anniversary which, for whatever reason, I thought was pretty special.

When it comes to dates for me and this LO, I'm just praying to get a full night's rest before going into labor. I spent two nights in labor and then pushed through until early morning on the third night with DD, and I think that was enough to convince me that sleep before delivering a baby is my "wishful delivery" priority!

If I were due at the beginning of October like you are, I'd probably hope for the 25th of September because it's a very special day for me and many of my extended family members on both sides, but I'm happy to have him stay in much longer and grow since I'm due at the end of October!

Ohhh you have such a good point on the sleep! Lol I was lucky last time and had a full nights sleep. I can only hope I am lucky again this time. See you hold a special date for ur family too... The 25th of this month is my step sons birthday. So that wouldnt be a good day for her to come lol unless she wants to take after her brother lol... and yes def need your LO to stay in if your not until the end of October....

We don't have any wishful dates, but we've made predictions. His due date is oct. 23, but I think he's going to make us wait till the 26th. My husband says the 21st, mom says the 24th, and my in-laws both say the 15th.

You're not the only one....I stare at my calendar almost like I'm willing it to be what I want. Our due date is Oct 4th but seeing how we already have, just within family members, birthdays on Oct 4th, 5th ,6th, 16th and 31st; I'm hoping for a birth on September 27th. It's the night of a full moon and lunar eclipse.

I'm due on 10/1 and am hoping for a 9/23 baby too for the equinox or 9/27 for the lunar eclipse!!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. People were telling me I'm a weird hippie for wanting it those days.

Due October 4th but I'd like her to be born on October 2nd, it was my fathers birthday and he passed away nearly 5 years ago.

My LO is due on Oct 18th, which happens to be DH's dad's birthday. His dad passed away when he was 13 so I think it would be nice if she shared a birthday with him. I know the odds of her being born on her due date are slim though!

I'm due 10/10, but I am hoping for 9/26. My husbands birthday is 7/26, his brother is 8/26 and their grandma is 11/26, so it would be cool!

My c section is scheduled for 10.15.15. I like the sound of that date & although it may be a bit morbid, this is also the anniversary of my husband's father's death. We feel like while one thing ended on that day, another beautiful thing will begin.
(I would also be ok with 9.22 as this is my birthday!)

Our little girl is due 10/4, but I have a few dates I would like. Not one specifically, but I'll take any of these... 10/1/15, 10/5/15, or 10/10/15...They are all simple numbers so I would like that. BUT I would also like her to have a September birthday so I'd be REALLY happy with 9/30. I know all of us are hoping to go into labor on the full moon though!

Can't wait to see what day she ends up arriving on.

Secretly hoping for a September baby, because all of my husbands family and half of mine are October babies. After working hard growing my son and pushing him out the last thing I want to hear is my MIL say (or anyone for that matter) is "oh how funny that Levi was born on _______'s birthday"

He deserves his own special day!
He is due October 16... We will see!

Due on Oct 1st!
I also thought she may come on the full moon!
My dad's bday is Sept 26th so he wants that.
My DH'S grandfather's 80th is 29th so he wants that.
DH'S aunt bday is Oct 3rd so she wants that.

I fell in love with october birth stone over September birthstone, petty I know but I will be so happy whenever she shows up.

Only 11 days left until EDD!

I am so glad I am not the only one who stares at the claendar dreaming of potential birth dates for LO! Not due till oct 14 but I am hoping for a 10/1 baby my dad wants a 9/29 baby since that's his birthday and DH wants 10/10 we will see but I just hope she comes a little early because I can't wait to hold her

@nimmunogirl my date I wish he would come is very close to why you chose yours:) I'm hoping 9/24 bc our DD is 1/24 and DS is 2/24 I think it would be fun to have all 24 babies:) that being said I'm due 10/6 so I seriously doubt he will come 12 days early. One the other hand it's our third and DS was 9 days early so we shall see:)

Love this thread! I am due 10/24 which I like, my husband is 11/24 and he wants to share "24". My mom has been hoping for 10/15/15. The jinx is in for 10/17, which is a huge rivalry game between my husband and I, Ohio State vs. Penn State. We normally go to the game every years so it would only be fitting if I went into labor during the game:) Finger crossed I don't!!

I'm due 10/28 which, like you said, is the full moon! Our wedding anniversary is 10/20. We have close friends/family birthdays 10/20, 10/24, 10/25, 10/26, 10/27 and 10/31 so the odds of LO sharing a special day with someone is likely!

Oh I don't think it's morbid....Sept 13th marked the anniversary of my grandfather's passing...I also thought that day would have been neat!

Due on 10/31 and all I'm hoping for is NOT 10/31

My sister's son was born 11/3 last year (same EDD) and she wants them to be born the same date, but I would rather not have that happen. I like the idea of 11/1 only because it's a 25 hour day (with changing the clocks) and so I feel like it has the highest probability.

I was hoping my LO would make his appearance last Friday on my mom's birthday. But he didn't. I don't really have any other days. I've had a feeling that he will arrive on the 29th but we'll see!

My original due date was 10/14 - and I would love for that to happen, as October is my favorite month and the number 14 is my lucky number (EDD has since been changed to 10/17). My birthday is 10/25, so it would be fun to have an October baby. But any day will work for me!

I'm due October 5th and really really want her to come on that day! I love the date: 10/5/15. All multiples of 5. I read somewhere that only 5% of babies come on their due date, so I guess I should start getting used to the idea that she'll be early or late. As long as she waits until October...

I am due 10/22. I have step kids with 10/21 & 10/23 birthdays. They are adults now but the young lady would be pissed to have to share a 10/21 birthday so I am hopeful that it is not that day just to avoid any more tantrums that she may throw. Ugh.
I would love LO to share my grandfather's bday of 10/30, but I know I won't go that long. All I really care about it waiting until October 1 since my doctor will be unable to deliver my baby until then because of a surgery she is having. Being a Scorpio myself though, I would love to wait until the 23rd and have a Scorpio baby!

I have a c-section scheduled for 10/2, which happens to be exactly 2 weeks from my birthday (9/18). I'm glad DD didn't "steal" my birthday, and I'm going she won't try to come early.

But if she did, 9/21 is the anniversary of the day we lost our angel baby last year, 9/23 is the first day of Autumn, which is her name, and 9/30 is the anniversary of the day my husband's adoptive family brought him home. And 9/24 would mean both my kids were born on the 24th of their birth month. So any of those days would be special. However, she needs to stay in till the 23rd or I'll have to change her name to Summer, and my husband will be out of town from the 23rd - 26th for work, so I'm hoping she'll stay put.

I don't care when he comes as long as it is not Halloween. I'm due October 25th. The way I have been feeling though I feel like it could be sooner. We are trying to buy a house and sell our house so having him come as late as possible would be better. Plus the later he comes the I get closer to being off until the end of the year.

I'm due 10/20, but I think 10/17 would be neat since my birthday is 4/17 and my boy friend's birthday is 8/17. However, knowing my luck baby will be late.

Can't believe that no one has mentioned Back to the Future yet: Oct. 21, 2015 is the date they go to in the future. Hubs is a huge fan and currently saving for a Delorean. He would freak out if that was our daughters birth day. However, my EDD us Oct. 5 - there is no way I would last till the 21st.

That would be so sweet! My DD1 was born after her due date, and on the day my DH's mother had passed 6 years prior. She redeemed the date for the family by turning a day of sorrow into one of celebration, and we had already planned for her middle name to honor her late grandmother.

Not morbid at all! Worked out that way with our first daughter and my husband's late mother.

I'm due the 23rd. I'd like to avoid the 16th-26th because my father won't be in the country. I want to avoid Halloween, as well. 10/30/15 would be neat, as they are all multiples of 5, otherwise, I'm not picky.

My due date is 10/29 and my only hope is he comes a day or more before so I can be home to trick or treat with my other kids. My mom has guessed 10/23 since we got my due date, my boss has two guesses 10/22 and 10/31. My guess is between 10/21 and 10/27.

I'm actually due Nov 10 but since dd1 came 3 1/2 weeks early, I'm guessing on a late Oct baby.
Unlike a lot of others mentioned, we'd love an Oct 31st baby! I was born on Dec 25th, dh was born on Dec 24th, dd1 was born on Memorial Day (which, yeah, changes every year but we always celebrate on Memorial Day weekend), my cousin was born on July 4th. So a Halloween baby would fit right in.

Otherwise, an Oct 21st bday would be cool. She still wouldn't be as early as dd1 was (who was perfectly healthy with no issues, so I'd have no problem with a slightly early baby!). Back to the Future Day.

LO is due 10/28 and I am also hoping for Halloween baby! Mine is St. Patrick's Day and think it would be neat to have a little Boo Baby!

My due date is 10/4 and dh really wants her to be born then so he can say 10/4 good buddy from cb radio lingo it was used in dukes of hazard... But I looked the quote up and it has a negative connotation among truck drivers so now I don't like that day!

Dh and I really like the movie Mean Girls so I kind of hope she's born on October 3rd because of the convo between Kady and Aaron

I had a dream the other day that she'd be born on 9/27 though. No significance of that other then apparently it's a full moon according to other people's posts!

My mom thinks she will be here 2 weeks early, on the full moon October 13th.

My Grandpas birthday, who has passed is October 19th- I also found I was pregnant on the day he passed. (5 years later)

My SO fathers birthday is October 24th.

There's a ton of people guessing, how....I have no idea. LOL.

We're all on hold for today. My oldest was born on 7/21. My second was born on 2/1. My 3rd was born born on 9/01. So I'm kind of thinking 9/21 would be cool. But he's due Oct 1, so that would be neat too.

Oh and my adjusted edd is my dad's birthday.

In my family we have matching digits bdays. My sister is 9/9, I'm 10/10 and one of my nieces is 12/12. Im always curious about how the numbers go.
