Re: Not feeling very pregnant...

  • Tuesday will be here before you know it! Please be sure to update me following your appointment.

Not sure if this was for me or not but my appt is Tuesday and reading this did just give me some relief. Some of you women are just wonderful :)

  • .:UPDATE:.
So i went from bloated and nauseous to feeling perfectly normal.. It's creeping me out TBH. My 1st appointment is this Wednesday so I'm just waiting for the clarification at this point. I'm taking prenatal vitamins either way it goes. I have been extremely emotional tho so IDK lol

Yeah... as of yesterday afternoon I'm suddenly much less bloated. I find myself fixing my posture because I must've been walking very 'pregnant' with my body leaning backwards from the bloat, cramps in the lower belly and lower back.
Nervous and anxious for my appt (week 7) on Wednesday to see whether my little pod is doing alright.
  • Looking forward to posts from all those who have appointments this week. I still don't have any symptoms (breasts feel normal, and maybe a bit of bloat and constipation but possibly unrelated too) nothing to reassure me until my ultrasound on 15 Sep. All the best to you all!
  • I have my first ultasounds today! I am six weeks and five days and really nervous. I have been having some spotting in the last week so I am praying everything looks good!
  • Don't worry about not having symptoms! Count yourself as lucky instead. I also did not feel very pregnant, but when I hit my 6th week that's when it all went down hill. I spent all Labor Day weekend at home vomiting after every meal. I couldn't hold down any food and I felt so nauseous that I just wanted to stay in bed. Luckily I had my first appointment yesterday and my Gyn prescribed me Diclegis. Took it as soon as I got home and this morning I finally felt better. My stomach finally felt normal and I was able to eat and keep it down (so far). I also had my first ultra sound. It was vaginal since baby is so small. I was 7 weeks yesterday. I finally have pictures and was able to hear the heartbeat. It was so exciting! Wishing you all a nausea free pregnancy!!
  • I am 8 weeks and 2 days and have had close to no symptoms. My first appointment is this Friday and I am very anxious, like most of you! Also, since Sunday I feel 'normal' again. I had light nausea (usually because I hadn't eaten in awhile) was tired more than usual but nothing extreme. Now...close to no symptoms but the food aversions haven't gone away. Don't even say the word avocado to me! (my favorite fruit...so weird)

Putting out good vibes to all the anxious moms to be. Lots of love!

  • I'm glad I saw this post. I don't really have any symptoms either. For a few days I couldn't find any food that sounded appetizing and I was exhausted by the end of the day. I saw the heartbeat last Thursday when I was exactly 6 weeks along. My next ultrasound is next Friday at 8 weeks 1 day. I hope everything is okay in there! I can't wait until 12 weeks :)
  • OK I don't "feel" it of course, but in my heart I know I am. Hubby and I saw baby on the magic screen today and heard the most beautiful heartbeat and I know its real now. We're gonna buy a Doppler so we can hear baby more often. I hope gets their reassurances soon! I know I needed mine!
  • Went searching for this thread today after feeling the same worries...am SO Excited our first appointment is finally Monday, but also had been making me more nervous, hoping so much that everything is all good. Other than sore boobs and fatigue, I feel like the other slight symptoms I previously had (nausea in the morning, more frequent urination) have lessened. At 8w2d, it has been giving me some anxiety. Here's hoping to see a healthy lil guy on Monday! Always comforting to read about similar experiences.
  • .:Update:.
Had my 1st u/s on the 9th and I'm proud to announce my little gummy bear was 8wks 6ds 2 days ahead of schedule lol I'm 9wk 2ds now. I saw the heartbeat and it head could be seen I'm Sooooooo happy
  • Congrats to both of you @Skydance @LunaBelle329 :)
  • So glad of this post!! It's my first pregnancy and I barely feel pregnant. Bit nauseous and breasts are sore occasionally. Just REALLY tired and bloated. I spent the whole weekend crying that I didn't feel pregnant and that something must be wrong (in gonna blame hormones) so I've got my first scan tomorrow as I'm 9wks. Glad to see its not just me, thanks for the reassurance!!

I'm 11 weeks pregnant, I haven't really felt pregnant either. My boobs were sore for a while but other than that and maybe longer naps than usual some weeks ago. I feel fine. I'm starting to feel like I need proof again that someone is in there lol

  • Hello Gang,

I'm 12 weeks today and I've by passed having morning sickness. Boobies are definitely bigger but the bump has appeared.

Bought bigger sized clothes but beyond that, I don't 'feel' pregnant either. Had a serious craving for asparagus today, I sleep after every intake of food and I'm moody and emotional as hell. All fairly typical symptoms I would notice about myself.
  • I'm almost 12 weeks and still don't really have symptoms. I am a little bloated and my boobs have grown but that's it. It's really nervracking cause I feel like nothing is happening.
