I'm FINALLY here!!!! First time in the 2WW with temping!

Month/Cycle: 3/2

CD/DPO: 48/3

Timing: -4, -2?, 0 (I ? -2 because I think I forgot to log it and DH can't remember either so if not our timing really sucks)

Testing plans: Next Friday should be 10DPO

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm so bummed about the timing if it's only -4 & 0 we still have a chance but I really hope the -2 is right too, FX! Also, I got so excited this morning that I got up after, showered, put my lunch together and went to walk out the door when it hit me that I work at 8 and I don't need to leave until 7.....it's only 6

guess it's nap time and a little bit of bumping before work

lsalvag1 I'm not sure about having watery CM after, I think it is quite possible though! I'm wondering if FF will change to CD 19 because of the CP and depending on how your temps are the next few days. Your timing looks really good for the CHs you've gotten! FX

CD/DPO: CD 38, not sure what DPO because I started temping in the middle of the month, but this is my longest cycle yet.

Timing: I *think*-4, -2, 0, +1

Testing Plans: I took 2 tests this morning and they were both positive! I don't think it'll feel real until I get it confirmed by a doctor, so I'm going to try to make an appointment today. H is out of town until this evening; I thought about waiting until he got home to tell him, but that's not really how I roll... haha I told him on skype this morning and he's very, very excited. I took a picture on my phone and I keep looking at it just to make sure... It's gonna be a long day at work!

Thanks to everyone for the advice! I only started temping within the past month, but I started trying in April and I've been lurking since around November of last year. Everyone here really encouraged me to start temping and I'm glad I did!

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Hmm.. probably something with coconut in it. I love coconut.

Testing plans: Yesterday I got a bfn and told myself I wasn't going to test again unless my temps keep rising. This morning my temp went up so of course I had to poas. I cramped all day yesterday and last night, so I'm still not sure what to think. I had a very faint second line on a wondfo. I took a second one and had a faint second line on it as well. I'm not saying anything to DH until I get a strong BFP and trying hard not to get my hopes up.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: my cramps started to feel more like AF cramps last night so it's making me wonder if she's on her way..

Testing plans: Tested this morning...BFN. Guess I'll be drinking tonight! Not losing hope...will test again on Sunday.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Was kind of irritable last night (had to go to the in-laws and drive through mass amounts of traffic) and had a tiny tiny bit of light pink/brown spotting just before BD and then after, but I think that's kind of normal for me at this point in the cycle. Kind of bummed about the BFN since I totally had a dream last night that I had a BFP. Starting to hate those kinds of dreams... I know that it's not likely to happen yet since DH only had his surgery like 5 weeks ago and I'm just so hoping that at his 3 month check up (when he does the SA) that there will be substantial improvement. I don't want to have to do IVF (wahhhhhh)! Ugh, now I just want to cry. I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I was really hoping for a miracle and that the surgery would just fix everything and fix it right away and I'd magically be KU now...but that's not how it works (that's not how any of this works!!!) and I just have to remember that and stay positive that this surgery could really improve our chances but that it takes 3 months to produce new sperm. /end rant

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Mmm....cake. I love my carrot cake (walnuts, no raisins) with delicious cream cheese frosting. Mmm....cake.

@WinchestertoPittsburgh: What are your pumpkin beer recommendations? DH and I tried Schlafly Pumpkin Ale last weekend and it's delicious so we picked up a 6-pack. Not too sweet, not too much spice - a nice blend. We also like Pumking but it's kind of pricey.

Testing Plans: I have said DPO 7 in the past.. I think I am going to hold out until DPO9.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I woke up before my alarm to go pee and took my temp and it took a HUGE nose dive. I went back to sleep and woke up about 2 hours later and it was the highest it has been. I am going to put in the low temp and see what happens tomorrow. Yay today is Friday!!!

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Vanilla

@bakerbird525, Pumpking is definitely my favorite but i'm not paying $85 for a case. Nope. So, Traveler's Pumpkin Ale is also delicious but verrrry pumpkin-y. Samuel Adams has a nice fall selection. I also tend to favor local beers in the fall as well

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Feeling really hopeful for a BFP This month cause my chart looks really good. The temps aren't as rocky mountainy as the were in the past two months of temping. Let me know what you think. I'm temped to POAS earlier what with all these BFP around me. I'm keeping myself distracted so I'm gonna stay away from the boards till tonight and get everything ready for my party then I'll have lots of catching up to do!

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? White cake with raspberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting!

Testing plans: TOMORROW! I still haven't POAS this week and it has taken all of my self-control to not do so.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Trying not to symptom spot but I had some cramping on Wednesday and some more today. My CM this morning was yellowish tan colored so hoping that's nothing. My boobs have been sore and yesterday my nipples were tingly. My temps have been staying high so fingers crossed.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? My favorite is chocolate with chocolate frosting. I also love ice cream cake!

@thesinga I think where it has your crosshairs now is good. The first time your "spike" wouldn't have been higher than the previous 6 temps. FF has been bad about giving me an early O date I don't agree with and then moving it when I actually O.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I got my 3rd High temp and FF finally moved my CH from CD 17 to CD23. I'm happy I was right to distrust the first CH and kept having sex AOAP anyway.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Red Velvet. My mom always says "you know red velvet is just chocolate cake with red coloring, right?" But real red velvet is different. I do also really like a good buttery Vanilla as well.

Timing: -7, O (or O+1?)

Testing plans: I'm going to try to stay strong and not test till my missed period.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'll be out of town staying with family till the 27th so I may just wait till then so I can test at home and go through all the emotions without my family present for the inevitable disappointment, frustration and sadness. Timing was truly terrible this month so my expectations are appropriately low. My temp had dropped yesterday but it is back up this morning so at least that's a tiny little glimmer of hope.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? That's such a tough question! How am I supposed to decide between all the amazingly delicious cake flavors? :-O I suppose if I had to pick I'd say butter cake since its versatile and works with a fairly wide range of filling and frosting options.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Temp is still climbing! It's never been this high before(while regular temping). But I did sleep with a very warm blanket last night. And I slept really good. I didn't wake up once like I have been doing lately. I just started using an oil diffuser and I am using "good night" oil. I think it's helping

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? I am all chocolate. But I think I'd have to say yellow cake with chocolate icing. I love a good red velvet with cream cheese icing. Has to be cream cheese though.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm still not confident in my O date or my chart in general this cycle. FF first predicted O on CD11, then revised to CD12. My temping technique was less-than-perfect for a number of reasons. And my H was out of town the two days I think I was most fertile, so our timing was also less-than-perfect. Oh well. I'm trying to let go of my perfectionist tendencies.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Yellow cake with chocolate frosting is my standard favorite for birthdays, etc. Though the best cake I ever had was my wedding cake - lemon with raspberry cream. I also love carrot cake. Oh nevermind, I LOVE ALL THE CAKE!

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Ok when I first entered the TWW I had this feeling it wasn't the month. Maybe trying not to get my hopes up? Plus trying to justify how the timing would be rough having a baby end of June. We have family vacations in July that we would have to miss and all that. But now with all the BFP this month and my BFF telling me is 5 weeks pregnant it would be sooooo awesome to get that BFP now. Ugh... psyched myself back up. My plans are to wait until 12DPO.... but seeing everyone on here makes me want to do it earlier... thoughts? On Sunday (11DPO) I am going out to brunch (mimosas!) for my birthday then to a friends house for the Pats game. Can I have a few drinks or no? Do I test that morning? Or wait until Monday for our 2 year anniversary and 1 day late AF?

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Hmmm not big on cake, but I would go with something strawberry shortcake?

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: my BBT died and I ordered a Mabis but it's not here yet. I changed thermometers to a regular one, but not until CD 17 so my temps may be way off.
I also never got a true positive on my OPK, but the line did darken then lighten, and the monitor never reached peak just high and back to low.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Cream cheese pound cake with raspberry filling.

Testing plans: BFN at 3:30am after I tossed and turned all night... After the title wave of BFPs yesterday I couldn't stand it and thought I might get lucky.

Rant/Rave: I think DH is right that I'm having my usual PMS symptoms

I didn't realize that BFN would hurt my feelings so much... I have big plans to buy a BBT, read TCOYF, chart EVERYTHING, and test O and PG a million times with Wondos! DH sees my obsession clearly at this point (there's no hiding it) and he's being super supportive so that feels pretty good. It's a nice consolation anyway.

GTKY: Favorite cake flavor is death by chocolate! We even had a huge chocolate raspberry wedding cake because I don't believe in flavors other than chocolate lol

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: had very dark brown spotting yesterday and this morning. Feeling fine otherwise. I did however call my primary MD this morning to go in for some blood tests Monday. Thanks to all you wonderful ladies (and TCOYF) I think I may have hypothyroid, just like every other female in my family, but am giving myself no chance of that getting in the way of TTC. My temps, although inconsistent because of shift work, are generally low 96s and I've also read that spotting can indicate low progesterone and low thyroid levels can affect ovulation. So 9am Monday we will hopefully get some answers. It may be a small step but it was very empowering to call and explain why I wanted these things checked and not be questioned so thank you to all of you ladies for that.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Cake is my favorite flavor of cake. I do not discriminate against desserts. Mmmm....sugar

Testing plans: 12-14 dpo depending on what my temps are doing. If they look good, 12 dpo, if meh, I'll just wait. Depends on what H wants too.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Temps are leveled off. Not much going on 'round those parts. Also---I keep waking up early and then taking temp about 30 minutes early because I'll just lay there and flop around, which isn't good. So I go with that earlier temp.

GTKY: What's your favorite cake flavor? Gosh. Regular vanilla, a really good vanilla.
