Thankful Thursday

I'm finding myself bogged down with feeling uncomfortable. So, I felt that a good dose of Thankful Thursday was necessary.

Today, I'm thankful that my son got into PreK at the local elementary school to allow us to save $700 per month in daycare. I'm thankful my DH gave me his extra pillow last night to help prop this big body up.

I'm thankful that I was able to take a couple days off to spend with my son since his birthday was yesterday. I'm also thankful for my fiancé who works so hard so I don't have to work more then part time. Also, im thankful for my mom & my sons godmother who are throwing him his very first birthday party (although he's 3) because we've never been able to afford one really since I have such a huge family. And of course I'm thankful for my healthy family including baby :)

  • I'm thankful that I had last night off work so I could get some much needed extra sleep, I'm thankful for my goofy son who makes me laugh every day, I'm thankful for my husband who has put up with my crazy and hormonal mood swings through 2 pregnancies, and most of all I'm thankful for all of the blessings the Good Lord has given me and my family.

I'm thankful for my new nephew's safe arrival yesterday after my SIL needed to be induced due to high blood pressure! His pics are adorable and I can't wait to go meet him! :D

Congrats to your SIL!!! It'll be fun having a cousin so close in age to your LO! My brother's son is only going to be about 8 months older than our son, so I'm sure they'll be buddies.
  • I'm thankful for the stormy weather which is keeping my SO from work. We need the dollars but I need some time with him so I'm soaking it up. Plus it feels so good to be inside watching movies or really doing whatever when it's raining.

Thankful for these pancakes I'm about to make.

Thanks! All my kids have cousins close in age as every one of my pregnancies has ended up overlapping with a sister/SIL. Not planned, but an awesome bonus. They have great relationships with all of their cousins, and it warms my heart every time I get to watch them play together. :)

  • I'm thankful for my husband. He works so hard so I don't have to and will be able to stay home with our babies.

And bc I stay home, I'm thankful for my cat who keeps me company and let's me talk to him as if he were a human.
  • I have a lot to be thankful for. I'm thankful that the US changed their laws to allow same-sex couples to legally marry, because my two moms just tied the knot in Vegas!! They have been together for nearly 14 years, & I am SO happy for them.

    That's amazing! Congrats!

I'm thankful for pedicures. I'm also thankful for my sore ribs, because they're the product of a healthy growing baby. :)

  • I am thankful for My DH who tries his best to not take it personally when I get upset over something stupid.
For my 2 wonderful Boys who are doing there best to help me out with chores and are just the sweetest.
For this little Diva growing inside of me, who I never thought would come into my life.
and For my two dogs that will not let me be anywhere alone...even the bathroom (which Is frigging weird).

Oh and to My sheppard for being my Pregnancy pillow through-out all my pregnancies... You rock!

  • I'm thankful for cooler weather and corduroy!
(I found some awesome corduroy fabric and little one is going to have the coziest blanket this winter !!)
  • I'm also thankful for my husband, the fact that he works hard, and has grown his business almost double this year, so I haven't had to worry about money as much, especially because I only have unpaid leave time and will be off for 6-8 weeks. I'm also thankful that he puts up with my pregnant bullshit and doesn't get his feelings hurt when I'm acting crazy. I'm thankful for the beautiful Colorado weather that has descended upon us along with autumn being right around the corner! I love all the fall foods!!

I'm thankful for my mother. She's helped out so much, and never makes me feel like a mooch for asking for a ride when my DH has the car or to watch DD when I have a plethora of doctor's appointments. I'm thankful for my DH and DD, while they add to my crazy sometimes, most times they are my sanity and they are always the reason I go to bed with a full heart. I'm thankful I have a good job that's allowing me to work up until two days before my c-section and is beyond understanding. I'm thankful that my DS will be here in a mere 55 days.

And I'm thankful for this thread. It's so easy in the third tri to have the "woe is me" attitude, it's nice to be reminded how blessed we all are.

    Congrats!  That's the best!

You reminded me to think about how great moms are!  I'm grateful for my mom, who treated me and my son to a mini beach vacay this week, taking advantage of living in the south and getting a few last swims in the ocean before it gets chilly (which I will be so grateful for, come on Fall!).
  • thankful for a good appointment today. LO even kicked the dr while she was trying to get HR. Thankful that my mom's appointment went well (just had second surgery last week after mastectomy) she is good to go back to work in 2 weeks finally. Also thankful we get to take a mini vacation next week it's not much but enough to escape before baby countdown.
  • I am thankful for my amazing hubby who has spent his last 3 weekends off painting, pulling up carpet and now putting down laminate flooring for DS's nursery. ❤️❤️
  • Today I am thankful that my parents agreed to take my 3 lil boys next weekend so my husband and I can get away! Much needed alone time! It's probably been 3 years since we have been alone for more then just a date night. I am also thankful when I booked our hotel room there was still a river view room left! So ready to be secluded in the mountains for a few days :). VERY thankful for my husband who provides for us so I can be a SAHM.

I'm very thankful that I still have a healthy baby boy. We had a bit of a scare after ultrasounds showed nearly no growth after 3 weeks (7th percentile) and were sent to a high risk doctor. We were mentally preparing for baby to arrive as early as next week.

After an ultrasound at the high risk doctor's office, we were told our baby is the perfect size for his gestational age (Ultrasound tech at home must've had a bad angle to estimate size)and he didn't understand why were sent there in the first place. I have never been more relieved.
  • I am thankful that my manager hired me knowing I was 20 weeks pregnant. I am even more thankful that even though I am not going back right away she has told me to call her whenever and she will have a spot for me.

I am beyond thankful for my amazing parents. They helped my husband and I get out of a really bad/violent roommate situation and have now purchased a bigger home for all of us to live in. They are giving me the opportunity to stay home with my son and go back to school as well. I'll never be able to thank them enough.
  • I am thankful for life and all it entails. I'm thankful for the bad days cause they make the good days that much better. I'm thankful for the health and wellness of my two boys, husband, myself and the little boy growing inside me. I'm thankful for my husband and the amazing man and father he is. And last but definitely not least I'm thankful for coffee, because without it I might go absolutely bat shit crazy. ;)

  • I am thankful for a great ob appointment today. Strong heartbeat and little girl was kicking the whole time. Also thankful for my husband for all his hard work, love and making it to all our ob appointments bc he wants to be there!
  • I'm thankful for my brother in law who lives in an entirely different province because he researched strollers and car seats, and bought us one of the best that you can find in Canada, and one of the most expensive, and arranged a surprise for us down to the details of making sure it was hidden well and topped with a Spider-Man balloon. I am just so grateful for having family, that knows we can afford to have this baby, but want to give us everything as gifts so that we don't have to focus on anything else but the baby.
  • Today I am thankful for dog parks. The beast now sleeps!
  • I am thankful for my mother who is coming on Saturday to paint, organize and help me clean the baby's room. I am also thankful for DH who has definitely stepped up and is helping more with housework. Oh and coffee. Thank the lord for coffee.
  • I'm thankful for my new iPhone 6+ instead of my pos 4s.

Also thankful for my hubby and healthy baby :)
