@Leabear009 - I had very little CM my first few months of trying and I think it had to do with my body adjusting to being off BC this cycle is the first cycle that I actually noticed legit EWCM. However, I did purchase pre-seed and used that too. It should last a while...I used it 5 times and I think I only used 1/3 to 1/2 the tube! I think it's worth it!
I'm not sure if you meant during O or after, but I don't think CM post O is the same for every person whether pregnant or not.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: So I'm starting to feel out this month and it's starting to really discourage me. I know we haven't been trying for long but even before we started TTC I had this fear that for some reason I would have a hard time getting KU. Our timing was great and my temps show a good thermal shift but the one thing I noticed is I have very little CM. If I don't get a BFP this month I'm thinking about getting preseed. Has anyone else used this and is it worth it? Any advice? I hear it's pretty expensive.
Testing Plans: well yesterday was my slight squinter. Dh has been out of town helping out with some recent mudslides 6 hours away. When I finally got to talk to him last night he was excited but also mentioned he might be coming home early. He could possibly be home tonight or tomorrow so it took everything out of me but I'm waiting till then. I would prefer a solid good line anyways rather than what showed yesterday.

We use Pre-seed. It's like $15 at Targét. I bought it because we used KY prior to TTC and I read KY kills sperm. A little goes a long way so the $15 tube will last you a while. We have been EOD folks and this is our 2nd month using it and we have barely used 1/4 of it.

Not weird. I get way more creamy CM post O. Do you check internally and after a BM? That's the only way I can find ample CM.

Same here! Most creamy the farther post O I get. You could also read about the patterns that CM leaves in your underwear, I found that to be interesting and helpful!

Yes especially around O! I rarely even get watery CM. I'm going to get preseed if AF shows up. Good to know its not weird that I get more CM post-O though.

Last weekend DH and I traveled to Vegas for our anniversary so I haven't temped in over a week because with the time change it wouldn't have been consistent anyways. I felt crampy the whole time we were there so I was sure AF was on the way when we got home. But oddly enough, what did I see in every corner of Vegas?...pregnant people and babies!!! You would think Vegas would be the one place you could escape all that? Nope. You can't. Crawling with big bellies and strollers. Even at like 2am. It was so annoying.

Can you link to your chart? If you didn't have a temp shift, you very likely didn't ovulate. +OPKs can happen without causing ovulation.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Stinking H is symptom spotting for AF! He says I broke out, got grumpy, feel bloated, and my voice is lower because AF is coming next week... I hope he's wrong and that the symptoms are the same for PG and AF. No telling though. I'm going to test anyway just because I worked too hard not to get to pee on something! Next month, I have plans to temp, OPK, and share my charts, but it was fun getting to jump right in regardless this month.
GTKY: What was your first concert and what was your last concert? Last concert was STS9 with my family at Red Rocks last week. The venue was gorgeous. The horrible smoking, raving stoners and trippers were THE WORST. We left early. I fussed and was annoyed the whole time because everyone around us kept smoking and I was sure I was breathing in so much second hand smoke (even though the venue was technically 'non smoking'). Gretchen Wilson at Blue Bayou Waterpark was my first concert when I was 14. I actually really dislike country music and had no idea who she was. Also a bad time... I think I hate live music.
Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: FF changed my O Day. I was pretty upset by it because I thought we had really nailed our timing this time around. DH has been down in the dumps recently about our TTC journey and somehow this always causes me to end up really sad. I know he would hate himself if he realized that his moods are having that effect on me, but I'm having a very emotional week (I'm actually tearing up now as I write this...)
GTKY: What was your first concert and what was your last concert? Backstreet Boys Millenium Tour in 2000. My mom is actually on her way to visit me so we can go to the Taylor Swift 1989 concert tomorrow night. I'm SO looking forward to it.

@carolinw- I'm sorry that you are having a tough day. And I'm sorry that your H is having a hard time too. I've been so glad in some ways for us that a BFP didn't happen right away because my H was convinced it was going to happen right away and I kept telling him that we would only be so fortunate. That there's more too it than just us having sex. Just out of curiosity, have you been temping all 8 months that you have been TTC. We are on month 5 and I like to hear peoples stories. Helps keep me grounded somewhat. Are there things on your bucket list you could try to plan for this month or could you sneak away for a little get away? Maybe book a couples massage or make a special dinner? Try to be good to you, whatever you do. Hugs to you.

@MNturnsVA Thank you so much for the kind words! You brought me to tears but in the best kind of way We have been temping for 3 cycles (only using OPKs, tracking CM, etc.for the first 5). In the grand scheme of things, this is nothing compared to the struggles of many women here and I try to remind myself of that every day. (And quite honestly, re-reading what I just wrote makes me sound like a total cry baby...) It's so wonderful to have this network of support on the crappy days though. Would love to hear your story! Totally hear you on the benefits of hearing about others.
I love your idea of getting away. DH has been talking about wanting to escape for a weekend to a vineyard in Virginia. Thinking I may take him up in that and use the planning as a pleasant distraction today!
