My DS2 calls his little sister "Baby Hesta." He can say her name Elsa, but insists on Hesta so much so that DH and I catch ourselves calling her Hesta sometimes.
I call her Milly, DH and I both call her turtle, and I've recently taken to calling her snarky, since she likes to clamp onto my nipples and thrash like there's no tomorrow.
She's my little hummingbird she makes this humming noise when she nurses, which is probably just an early indication she had my awful sinuses but for now I will just consider it a cute attribute.
A little girl at our church informed me she named my DD Star.
And my MIL didn't like the names we've given our children so she nicknamed DS1 Bubba and DS3 Buster. Absolutely no one else calls them by these names. In fact DS1 has corrected grandma of who he is a few times.
When we first found out I was pregnant, I made a comment like, "Right now our baby is a little blob." So the name blob kind of stuck. She is 2 months old and she is still blob haha.

MIL calls DD punkin (like pumpkin I guess?), that isn't my issue- my issue is that all her grandkids have nick names (8 total) EXCEPT my two sons but now she chooses to give DD a nickname? I'm definitely side eyeing the shit out of her for picking favorites
@toccoaparker my MIL has shown favoritism for DS1 (and we have the only grandchildren for DH's side). Not really sure why because she was really pissed off when DH and I announced we were pregnant with him and had little to do with him until after he was 1. For her, the nickname things is really because she hates the names we chose and that we didn't name the children the names she insisted. I just try not to let her get to me.
His name is Everett and we call him Rett. He also makes all kinds of squeaky noises so my mom calls him Little Squirt. He's got like 5 dimples, so I've recently been calling him Dimples. These are in addition to all the normal terms of endearment.
My baby's name is Anastasia (russian origin) and I am myself is 100 russian. So she got plenty of nicknames starting from Nastya, Ana, Stasia, Stasi, bebe (bebe is the one I find myself using a lot, DH is catching on as well!)
We started calling him peanut since we found out I was pregnant. Now he gets Jax (short for his name, Jaxson) pumpkin, sweet pea, munchkin and my boyfriend loves to call him Mr.Fussy pants when he gets crabby!
Her name is Riley. I call her Riley Roo, Roo Roo, Rudy Roo, Little Sister, Fuss, and Fuzz (because of her fuzzy hair). Big Brother calls her Girl, Hairy Baby (thank you Beymax), and Little Sister.
Her name is Evelyn and my husband and I call her Evels. I also have other random names that come out like honey bunch, dumpling and fusser nutter when she's crabby
Stinky, stinky face, baby cakes, sweet pea (she was "chickpea" before she was born, we were team green), lazy baby, sweet thing... But the most common one is Little One, which I'm realizing might be because of using "LO" on TB. Whoops!!

We use most of these names for DD. But instead of Peanut, we call her Weenut.
Me: 25 | DH: 25
