My husband has 4 kids from a previous relationship ranging from 16 to 26...I feel that telling them will be quite awkward. None of them have children yet ... That would make it a little more awkward I think.
I don't have a big age gap but my daughter will be about 5.5 years old when this baby is born. We didn't plan to have a huge gap but we might be open to baby #3. MAYBE.
(Me) 30 & (DH) 32 {Together 11 years - Married 04.17.15}
DS will be 5 years and 8 months when this LO is born. It's not a huge difference, but it's much bigger than most of my friends. I'm glad that he's out of diapers and mostly self-sufficient, so he'll be able to help!
We have an 18 year old, a 4.5 year old, and now this little one. Yikes! Nothing like finding out you are pregnant a week after you send #1 off to college!
My daughter is turning nine in November and my husband and I just found out we are pregnant and die next May. I am worried about her adjusting to a sibling even though she has been asking for a brother or (mostly) sister for years. She is no idea what changes are in store for her and our little family!
My DD was 8 when I got pregnant with DS. It was great having a little helper around. DD is now 11 and DS is going to be 4 soon. Now i'll have two little helpers
We have a 18 year old, 4.5 year old, and this little lima bean. Thinking about the starting over stuff is scary. We were at a really good place with our family too since the 4.5 year old is finally at an age where he can really join in with activities that the rest of the family enjoys.
My 2 girls are 10 and almost 8. We haven't told our girls yet but they have been begging for a baby brother or sister for a few years now. They will be over the moon when we finally tell them!
