NPR: How to get rid of junk texts on cell phones!?

I know there is a do not call list, but DH has been getting weird texts from an unknown number about easy cash loans... any idea how to stop this? Will the do not call list stop the texts as well? TIA!

call your provider and tell them about your texts and they should tell you how to get rid of them.

A lot of times if you text back "stop" they will stop the automatic sending of them. It's usually a program sending them automatically. I would also call the provider like the other people suggested.
