I have to say that this is the best group of ladies I've come across on the Bump. Since venturing out to pregnancy boards, I've found a lot of snotty, opinionated women. Just plain out mean. There are some that are genuinely supportive, but I feel like some are just there to bully people. It's so clicky. It's especially hard being a FTM coming from a rough IF journey and seeing these women with 3-4 kids attack newbies. I don't get it. I haven't bonded with anyone since leaving here. I only really keep up with the few ladies that also came from this board.

Any how. Rant over, just wanted to say how grateful I am for having had you ladies going through all of this.

"Creepy" internet hugs. Keep strong and keep supporting each other. It really does make make a difference. Thank you

    You're so right! I feel exactly the same. This is an amazingly supportive group, and I certainly believe that going through this experience that infertility is changes us as person, for the better. There can't just be stress and heartache coming out of this, right? I keep on checking this board hoping for more to join us in the PAIF group...my heart hurts for all the ladies who had chemical pregnancies and BFNs in the last few days. Thinking of you!

    Right. The PAIF board is ok, just not a lot of activity going on there. So I venture out to my birth month group or 1st Trimester board and it's not my cup of tea. Also really rooting for our ladies here to get the BFPs and join us. My heart goes out to all of you!

    I'm desparetly hoping to join y'all soon! @krbjoy You had your first ultrasound recently, right? Do you know how many babies you're having? @KidShrink I believe yours is coming up soon! I'm excited to learn your results too!!

    I do think going through IF has made me a more compassionate person, and I think a lot of people who haven't gone through infertility can never completely understand what it is like.

    Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
    Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
    Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN 
    First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
    6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
    TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
    TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
    BC for 2 weeks due to cysts
    TI - Injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & full dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 10/15 --> 1 mature follicle --> BFN 
    TI - Last attempt at injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + crinone (AM only) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 11/15 --> 3-4 mature follicles --> BFP!! 11/27/15 @ 13dpo (shockingly, actually waited until then to test)

    Beta #1 @ 16dpo (11/30/15) = 1,075
    Beta #2 @ 19dpo (12/3/15) = 3,150
    One baby: Saw heartbeat @ 5w5d (114 bpm; baby measuring 2.3mm)

    I did have my u/s this past week. Did not happen as I had expected. It was transvaginal and the tech and doc said they were having a hard time getting a clear image because of my fibroids. What we did see was that there are 2 sacs and we saw a heartbeat in each. It was fuzzy, but there. They wanted me to come back on the 21st but DH and I decided it was time to switch to obgyn. So we made an appointment and explained what happened at the last u/s. So next Friday we are expecting another u/s and hope to find out more. Thanks so much for asking. Hope you are doing well.

    @krvjoy That's discouraging to hear. Why would people who are pregnant be mean to other people who are pregnant? Aren't there's boards here to have people in similar situations to talk to and receive advice and support from? That just doesn't make sense. You can still come visit us here, we still care! That's fantastic you have two sticky beans! :)

    My first ultrasound is at exactly 7 weeks on Tuesday! Very excited to find out what's hiding in there! I just need to see that little heart beat to really believe it (although the intensifying nausea is helping to make it real- not complaining though! I've worked hard for that nausea!). We told my in-laws as we were visiting them in Florida, and FIL is convinced it's a boy, whereas a few other family members think we're having twins as there are identical twins on both sides of the family).

    @AdorkablePixie Thanks! I do always check in on you ladies. I really hope for happy endings for all of you! Yeah it really is a shame. It seems like some women are just real cynical and take being pregnant for granted. I just don't like any of it. Even here if someone asks a question that doesn't really apply, no one here is snarky with them. They are sympathetic to their woes and try to direct them to some place that will help them. Not berate them and make them feel dumb. So much drama. I think for what I've been through, I don't need anymore drama!

    @laur2444 Thank you! Oh I know how the tww can feel like torture! The funny thing is, there always seems to be some sort of wait lol. I really hope you get a BFP! When is your beta?

    I am hoping and wishing that I can make the journey over there with some of my friends from this board because I'm nervous for everything you mentioned.  That's a bummer.

    Currently had 2 rounds of failed IUIs, failed TI monitored cycle
    December 2015: Starting 1st IVF cycle
    January 2016: Retrieval
    March 2016: Pending Transfer (I have 3 PGS tested embryos waiting for a womb)
    April 2016: BFP, the old fashioned way.

    @krbjoy my doctors office has you home test 18 days post trigger then go in for beta if need be....so I'm supposed to test on the 25th. Last round I got AF before I got to the testing day :(

    I just find it so ridiculous that women have to attack each other.  I've lived in the little "TTC>35" bubble for months because I had heard of the other boards and didn't feel up to dealing with mean people!!  It's just so sad.  Our >35 grads would come back and say the same thing about the pregnancy boards.   I'm so happy to have found the people on this board who are amazing and supportive.  As I move down the path to IVF, I feel like I can ask questions here and not feel "stupid."  I'm sorry you are all experiencing these things on the pregnancy boards.  I think it's easy to be a bully when you can hide behind your computer and screen name.

    Thanks ladies! Despite the nausea and fatigue, it's still feeling a little surreal! And I catch myself when I'm about to complain about it: I've wanted this for so long, I'm just going to suck it up! It's nothing compared to all the poking and prodding! I hope it all works out for you soon...no one deserve this IF crap!

    The great news is that as more and more of these well deserving and grateful ladies @KidShrink @krbjoy @AdorkablePixie get BFPs and continue in their H&H pregnancies, the boards will start changing. Thanks for paving the way ladies and I can't wait until there's enough of us over there to make it as positive a place as here!!!

    The pregnancy boards are very mean and there are lots of cat fights. It kind of competitive. Very weird!!

    You all really have been amazing! DW and I both agreed not to tell friends or family that we are TTC because of all of the pressure that it would put on us. I am so grateful to have found a great group of ladies that have provided a lot of guidance and encouragement for us (and I've only been around for a few weeks) and have a safe place to turn to to talk about our experiences, concerns and learn from each other :-D

    Thank you @HMamama2B, @KidShrink, @alexiskiriluk, and @kmetcalfe77! I am a little scared to join the pregnancy boards after what I've heard you ladies say. I don't understand why people feel the need to act that way. We are all pregnant, we should all be happy and supportive. ESPECIALLY those of us who had trouble getting pregnant.

    @AdorkablePixie : many people don't struggle like we do, and unfortunately don't get to develop that gratefulness we have for a BFP. On the may birth club, there's been this ridiculous thread on bumps, with women putting other women down for displaying their 'bloat', without having a clue what that pregnancy might mean to them. I haven't been on any other pregnancy board (other than PAIF; which is fine), but I just feel I can't relate to many of these women.

    August 2015: IUI: BFP. Chemical pregnancy :(
    October 2015: IUI: BFN
    January 2016: Egg retrieval: 10 frozen embryos!
    March 2016: FET Cycle- 2 embryos transferred!: BFP !

    @Adorkablepixie OMG OMG OMG!!! I am so happy for you!!! Congrats! I teared up a bit. That is great news, I kept checking and checking for your update. I knew it would be good news. (after your comment about the dreams, mine are still crazy)

    I'm so happy to still be part of this board. It makes me feel good to be "paving the way". Because I feel I've been blessed, I feel it's my duty to give back any way I can, whether it be positive support, advice, or a "hug" after bad news. So many of you have been that for me. It warms my heart to see the BFPs and it breaks my heart to see the BFNs. Keep your heads up ladies...it will happen!

    July 2015: Microdose Lupron 20u am & pm, Follistim 150iu 75iu am, Menapur 150iu 75iu pm
    Triggered 8/4 ER 8/6 ET 8/11 2 beautiful blastocysts; 2WW
    8/19 hpt BFP! Beta 8/25: 482
    2nd Beta 9/1......3707
    U/S 9/21: 1 beautiful little gummy bear

    I really didn't want to freak anyone out when I started this thread. I really was fed up with those people. What I really hoped for was to warn you ladies so that you didn't get treated how I did.

    @krbjoy Thanks! :) You made me smile and tear up a bit with you last paragraph. I completely agree. I feel for all the other ladies on this board. What we are going/have gone through is terrible and frustrating and it is so nice to have the support of other people who understand!

    You guys were so right. I have tried the 1st trimester board and my birth month board and the ladies there are so rude! I haven't had anyone be rude to me yet, because no one even responds to my comments, but I've seen them be rude to other ones and I don't get it. What is the purpose of being so snotty?! Ugh. Sorry, I just needed to vent.
