Hi ladies! I'm going to see if I can keep this going all week. Feel free to jump in with anything else.

So tell me what a perfect realistic day would look like for you? Do you like being with others? Would you choose to spend some quality time with yourself? Both?

My perfect day would be a waking up and the temps are in the low 60s - we got a taste of that last weekend and I just wanted to be outside all day. Breakfast outside with my family would be awesome. The rest of the morning and afternoon would be spent in a hammock under the sun and breeze. My kid quietly playing in the yard. Some Moby playing in the background. Once night rolled around, my husband would grill up something amazing..fajitas? I don't know. Something great. We would be surrounded by friends and beer would be had. Unrealistic part of the night: I would be able to see stars in the sky at night.

    For me a perfect day would be to wake up, have my SO here (we're doing the long distance thing right now) and be able to spend the day with him.  I'd love to spend the day with him, even if all we did was stay inside and get caught up on housework.  I'd probably turn a movie on and we'd order a pizza for dinner, we'd lay on the couch together and I'd knit something that our future little ones would wear and we'd just spend the day together.

    After we're moved in together my 'perfect day' will probably change.

    My perfect day is being with my husband on the lake in the cottage we vacation to ... Being able to go for walks and swims and read and watch a fun movie and eat dinner in and laugh. I love that. I've had a day as close to perfect as that a few times. I can't wait to share that with a baby.

    My perfect day would be similar to yours.  Nice cool sunny day.  I would get up about 8 grab a quick breakfast, go for a run and then come home to waffles.  Laying outside for most of the day in the hammock or sitting on the back porch with my DH either reading or just talking.  (When kids come along it will involve a soccer ball or baseball... something fun to do.) Then when evening hits we would grill up some tasty food and have our friends over for a fire, marshmallows, & board games.  

    Any time we have friends over or we are at a friend's house it usually involves fire, board games, and beer.  My friends are the family we got to pick.

    Any day with good weather, being outside, and just being surrounded by family and friends sounds lovely!

    @gabpepsi that cottage sounds amazing. I need me one of those vacations.

    @HookEmNelson you can never go wrong with a cottage! Only downside is that it doesn't have TV. Which is really fun for the first few days... but then I miss it. Ha!

    Once again @HookEmNelson is my twin!! Fall temperatures are my absolute favorite! The first crisp morning I have to go outside and take a few deep breaths and appreciate it!! Love it :)

    Fall is definitely my favorite as well. I think my perfect day would involve a hammock in the shade with a book (and somehow no bugs). And then a trip to the bookstore, followed by a fire with smores, and then playing Dutch Blitz (an awesome card game) with friends until I had to go to bed.

    My perfect days are around christmas. I love seeing all the christmas lights everywhere and the firepace lit inside the house, lights inside the house. And while it's probably cold outside and the days are short, the nights are long and everything feels more cozy. There's hardly anything that can ruin any of those days.

    I do the exact same thing! I'll walk out my front door and my arms just shoot up in the air. We are headed back up into the high 90's today. Just waiting for another cold front to push through now. Come on fall.

    I love Christmas time too! All of those reasons you have are perfect. The "coziness" factor is always my favorite part of the year.

    I'm late to the party, but I'd pick cool weather for sure. I'd snuggle with DS in the morning and let DH sleep, then go to the spa for a massage, facial, and mani/pedi. Then a movie at the movie grill with DH and DS. Yay for perfect days.

    My perfect day would be a day with my DH, spending the day at the beach with him or take our pups for a walk on the bach and walking around town, and then go home and snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie.

    @AshPat0525 and @HookEmNelson It's amazing! It's actually an amish card game (DH is from Lancaster, he's not amish though so his sister introduced me to it). I've introduced so many people to it and they're all obsessed. It's a combination of speed and Uno I guess. 

    You won't be disappointed!

    Any games you recommend? We love game nights here too!

    I would have two different scenarios.

    1. Waking up late (which is 8:00 am for us) and cooking breakfast together. Enjoying coffee and breakfast on the porch with cool temperatures (in the 50's and high of low 70's is best). The rest of the day I would just want to relax, maybe work in the yard and around the house with my husband. That night I'd want to grill some steaks and potatoes fo us and our group of friends and just spend time with them.

    2. Tailgating all morning and day in Raleigh for the NC State football game and then watch the Wolfpack play well the entire game and win!

    My perfect day would be spending the morning outdoors with my son and friends woth kids close to his age. Then we'd drop him off with his grandparents and play Cards Against Humanity with our friends, with no need to filter for fear of kids repeating. Followed by a romantic evening with my husband. Then my son would sleep through the night.

    Perfect days for me are definetely at the beach.  Not alone, at least DH, but maybe some close friends or my parents.  Sometimes we do eleborate picnics at the beach, and I love that too.
