How'd you meet your SO? He was friends with my brother so we'd known each other for years. We were facebook friends for 2 years before he asked me out.
How long have you been together? How long have you been married? We've been together for 4 years (since my daughter was 3). We got married June 26th this year!! And pregnant a month later!
What's you favorite thing about him/her? How he loves my daughter as his own. Her dad isn't the best father and not always around. My husband has stepped up big time and they have an amazing relationship.
How'd you meet your SO? He was working at a restaurant/bar that my friend dragged me too. I absolutely didn't want to go - glad I did!
How long have you been together? How long have you been married? Almost 6 years now. Married 4 last June (wow!)
What's you favorite thing about him/her? He's the realest person I know. And he's always got my back. Also, he has a shaved head and I love that.
How'd you meet your SO? We met in high school - we're only a week apart in age but he was a sophomore, I was a junior.

How'd you meet your SO? I've known him since I was 15. We went to high school together. Even though he is 3 years older than me, we were always in the same group of friends.
How long have you been together? How long have you been married? We've been together for about 7 years now (I think LOL) and married for 3 and a half.

Here's an interesting story... and as some may say "one to tell the kids one day". DH and I were friends throughout high school and then lost touch for about 4-5 years. We were both in serious relationships, engaged, buying a house, and all of that seriously committed stuff. Both of our relationships ended and we were still out of touch. My friends convinced me to go on an online dating website so I of course was completely against them and said fine! I'll go on a free one. I joined OKCupid. Within a day of me joining, I suddenly get a message from DH. Apparently I popped up as one of his top matches and he popped up as one of mine. The rest..... is history.....
We met freshman year of college. We had a mutual friend who brought Benedict, my hubby, to a small videogame bash we were having in one of the suites on my dorm's floor. We didn't start dating until a few months later.

This is sort of long. ..
The night that sealed the deal to make him pluck up and ask me out we were celebrating a friend's birthday during one of the last evenings of fall finals. Around 11pm he mentioned that he had a Western Civilization final he was probably going to fail in the morning because he had spent time studying for his other classes and was overwhelmed by how much he realized he didn't know once he got to it. I thought that was unacceptable, and offered to help him study after the party. We stayed up nearly all night studying, got evacuated around 3am by a fire alarm, got coffee and went back to it until around 5am. Before parting, I gave him a kiss on the forehead, wished him luck, and told him to get some sleep. The next day, he bought me coffee and breakfast before he caught a plane home for winter break. He sent me a cute card with a super cheesy poem in it asking me out over break and we've been together ever since. Btw, he got a B+ on the exam and I became a teacher. : )
How'd you meet your SO? We met through church about 15 years ago, but never really talked. 7 years later we got back in touch through mutual friends and he asked me out on a date.

He knew he wanted to marry me a year before out first date. I was casually dating a mutual friend, when someone said that the mutual friend and I would end up married. DH told me from the beginning that he laughed at that comment because he knew we would marry.

How'd you meet your SO?
I met my husband on eHarmony; however, we actually went to the same middle school, high school, and college. We participated in all of the same programs (theatre, choir, madrigals) and knew all the same people. He is 4 years older than me, so we never met!
How long have you been together? How long have you been married?
We dated for 1 year were engaged for 1 year and will have been married 2 years come October 20. So, we've been together about 4 years now.

He is, by far, the most patient and selfless person I have ever met. I use him as a role model; I want to be more like him.

How'd you meet your SO? I was a bridesmaid in his wedding! So, technically, I've been in both his weddings! Nothing happened between us until his divorce finalized, at the time of their wedding I had a boyfriend.. They were married a whopping 9 months before she cheated on him.
How long have you been together? How long have you been married? Together for 6, married for 2.
What's you favorite thing about him/her? I love so many things about him. He's a man's man, like if we ended up in an apocalypse he would know how to build a shelter, hunt, take care of me/us. But, he's not like a doomsday prepper, he just knows handy things. I love how much he loves me. He like REALLY loves me.
How'd you meet your SO? We met on Yahoo Personals. I had signed up because a good friend of mine met her boyfriend through it and I had broken up with my cheating boyfriend and needed to go out and have fun with someone new. DH joined for one month and saw my profile on the last day of his trial.

What's your favorite thing about him/her? He's the most honest, kind man I've ever known. I am lucky to be his wife. He's the best dad to DD too.
I was a junior he was a senior at different high schools. We met bc of a mutual friend at Denny's. After that we went back to my house and talked for hours. He got my number and called me again to do the same the next day.

He is the biggest goof and has the best sense of humor, but he also goes leaps and bounds to take care of me (and now our LO). After lunch today he actually asked if it liked what I ate. It made me smile.

Then started dating again in college and have been together ever since. Timeline Dating: 5 years Engaged: 1 year and Married: 6 years for a total of 12 years we have been together, so we are an old married couple already.

How'd you meet your SO? This is kind of a long story. I had a (guy) friend who kept pushing me to play facebook poker with him. I finally gave in and got on one night. My husband, Rob, was at my table. We started talking, then became friends on the game. We both started going onto the game just to see each other. This was hard for him because he is from England and there is a 5 hour time difference!! We became friends on Facebook, then found out we both had a skype and the rest is history. He used to stay up all night so we could talk after I got off work. We skyped everyday for a year, then flew back and forth. He flew in for Christmas that year and we got engaged. We then got married July 2011

How'd you meet your SO? I went to prom with his best friend. I went to an all girls high school and they went to an all boys high school. I hadn't met DH before but I had heard about him and DID NOT like him! I was actually anxious about him being at the prom too because I really didn't think we'd get along well. There was a lot of drama and a giant love hexagon and basically everybody ended up switching dates. Turns out we really hit it off and have been together ever since! And my prom date/DH's friend was in our wedding as a groomsman!

Quirky story: One of the first things DH said to me the day we met was "wanna mate?" Gross, high school is so embarrassing. I swear he is better than that now, but I still like to make fun of him for it. Also, I judge myself for hearing that pick-up line and NOT running the other direction!

He is the kindest, most generous and loyal person I have ever met. He always has my back and he always puts our family first. And he's super hot.

How long have you been together? How long have you been married? Together for four years this coming November, married for five months and a week.
What's you favorite thing about him/her? He doesn't feel any sort of need to prove how masculine he is. The Sound of Music is one of his favourite films and he's not afraid to own that. But he can also be very strong and DIY-y (and has nice broad man-shoulders). He just does whatever he likes because he likes it, which is really cool to me.

I love that he balances me. I'm really high strung, dramatic, etc and he calms me down; he centers me.

How'd you meet your SO? In middle school & high school, he was my best friend's younger brother's best friend, so we all hung out at their house alot. BUT we (my best friend & I) completely ignored them, as they did to us also. They were very into computers and video games and nerdy, so we didn't relate at all. Fast forward to my last year of college and someone wants to invite him to a party at our apartment, I was like ehhh Idk about that guy... other person whined a bunch and I caved. He had lost a bunch of weight and was pretty cute lookin, so I drunkly flirted with him by throwing pretzels at him. He wasn't drinking, this didn't win him over in the slightest. Ended up inviting him to a few more parties and he came to a couple and we'd hang out and talk. This pretty quickly went to him staying until the wee hours of the morning watching movies with me and talking and then I'd drive him home (his car was a pile of crap). He cooked me dinner and we started officially going out

One day my college roommate announced she found the perfect man for me...her theater tech professor! But the first time I saw him was 2 days before our planned 1st date as I was freaking out and contemplating calling it off. My roommate was like "We need to get out! Let's go watch the Pats game" I thought she meant the local sports bar...but we ended up at her professor's house and the moment I saw him, it was instant attraction!

How much time do you have? Seriously, I could go on forever about what an incredible man he is. He is this big, tough, tattooed, muscle-y man with gigantic callaused hands and a shaved head and full beard. He is gruff and rough and does carpentry in his spare time. He drives trucks, sets up staging and pyrotechnics for big rock stars, and works 16hrs a day. He is hard working, loyal, dedicated, strong, and I feel so safe and secure with him. He has an undiagnosed learning disability that caused him to be abused by nuns and yet now, years later, he is a deacon at our church, runs youth group, and organizes mission trips for Habitat for Humanity. Those huge rugged hands have nursed me back to health, held me through my battle with depression, cared for our beautiful son. His mix of forgiveness, unwaivering faith in God and Christ, and caring, loving heart make him a true gentle man. He loves my extreme nerdiness and will listen to me for hours, comparing Harry Potter and Star Wars. He makes me laugh with his quiet and understated sense of humor. He lets down the tough facade with me and lets me take care of him. I melt when I hear him reading to our son in silly voices. Today he came home for lunch to fix our front porch and had our 2yr old "assist" by handing him different tools. He is an incredible teacher and loving father. I am so blessed to have him in my life and to have a family with him!

How'd you meet your SO? We met in high school in 10th grade. He had just moved to the area and we were in homeroom and a study hall together. One of my very best friends was interested in going out with him so I was the person passing him notes on her behalf. He asked me out a couple of times, but because she had a crush on him (and he wasn't really my type), I told him no.
How long have you been together? We began dating in May of 2006. How long have you been married? Since June 20, 2015. Newlyweds - woo hoo!

We weren't particularly close so we lost touch after high school for about 12 years. He got a job and had two children; I went as far from home as I could manage for college and eventually got engaged to a real douchebag. After we split up, I didn't date much for a couple of years. MySpace was big with my friends then so I got online to occupy my time. I got this message from a guy (now DH) that I didn't remember, saying that we went to high school together. After he finally convinced me he wasn't just a random creeper, I agreed to meet him out with a bunch of my friends. We got married almost 3 months ago. Fortunately my high school girlfriend forgave me and came to the wedding. :-)

I love just about everything about him! He's smart, funny, helpful, and sweet. He has a strong spiritual side that makes him a great leader has a very unique and interesting point of view. We clicked instantly.
